SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED PRODUCTS

In a double-insulated product, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding.

No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated product, nor is a means for grounding

to be added to the product. Servicing a double-insulated product requires extreme care and

knowledge of the system, and is to be done only by qualiﬁed service personnel. Replacement

parts for a double-insulated product must be identical to the parts they replace.

INFLATION

NOTE: BED MUST BE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE PRIOR TO INFLATING OR IT MAY CAUSE

AIR LEAKS.

1. Place your rolled-up bed on the ﬂoor free of obstructions or sharp objects.

2. Make certain the Whoosh™ Valve is closed (see Figure A). Bed should be stored with valve

in the closed and latched position. If the Whoosh™ Valve is open (see Figure B), close it

by using 2 thumbs, as shown below, to push cover and snap into valve (see Figure C). Be

careful to avoid pushing valve cover to the right or left as it snaps into the valve opening.

3. Remove AC plug, cord, and One Touch

4. Plug into any standard polarized 110 VAC electrical outlet.

North American Electrical rating: 120 VAC 60 Hz 1.25 A (Note:

230 VAC product sold outside of North America). To reduce the

risk of electrical shock, this furnishing has a polarized plug

(one blade is wider than the other – see Figure D). This plug

will ﬁt into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does

not ﬁt fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not

ﬁt, contact a qualiﬁed electrician to install the proper outlet.

Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully

inserted. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

5. Push and hold inﬂation/ﬁrmer button on the One Touch

Comfort Control Wand for approximately 60 seconds to inﬂate

your AeroBed

product to the full (ﬁrmest) capacity (see

Figure E). Bed will not over-inﬂate.

6. Lie on the bed and use Comfort Control Wand to adjust the

ﬁrmness to your desired level. For ﬁrmer bed, press the inﬂate

button. For softer bed, press the adjust button (see Figure F).

CAUTION: Do not sleep on edges of the bed. Edges are less

supportive and may crush under weight.

DEFLATION AND STORAGE

1. Make sure the bed is unplugged from the electrical outlet

prior to deﬂation.

2. To deﬂate your bed, open the Whoosh™ Valve (see Figure G).

Deﬂation takes approximately 15 seconds.

3. For most compact storage, close valve, press deﬂate button

(see Figure F) on control wand until all the air is expelled from

the bed.

4. Roll or fold the AC cord with wand control and secure it. Fold

sides of bed into the center along its length (see Figure H).

Tightly roll and place bed in convenient carry bag for easy

storage and transport.

5. Store your bed in a clean, dry place at room temperature

(above 50 ºF/10 ºC). Storing your bed under 50 ºF (10 ºC) and

over 100 ºF (38 ºC) may affect its performance and will not be

covered under warranty.

is used for extended periods of time. Do not use pump continuously for more than 5

minutes. To avoid excessive heat build-up in pump, let it rest for 5 minutes between

complete inﬂation cycles.

Mijn luchtbed loopt langzaam leeg, maar lijkt niet lek. Waarom is dat? Geverifieerd

Temperatuurverschillen zijn een veel voorkomende reden dat het luchtbed minder hard aanvoelt. Warme lucht zet uit en koude lucht krimpt. Wanneer het luchtbed overdag wordt opgeblazen met warme lucht en de lucht 's nachts afkoelt krimpt deze en voelt het luchtbed minder hard aan. Andere oorzaken zijn een lekkend ventiel of verouderd materiaal wat poreus is geworden. In het laatste geval is het luchtbed aan vervanging toe. Neem contact op met de fabrikant indien het ventiel van het luchtbed lekt.

Kan ik een lekkage in mijn luchtbed repareren met reparatieset voor fietsbanden? Geverifieerd

Het is mogelijk om een lekkage in het luchtbed te repareren met een reparatieset voor fietsbanden. Echter kan het PVC van een luchtbed anders zijn dan dat van een fietsband waardoor het mogelijk is dat de lijm niet goed hecht op het luchtbed. Om een langhoudende reparatie uit te voeren gaat de voorkeur uit naar een reparatieset speciaal bestemd voor luchtbedden.

Kan ik een luchtbed met de mond opblazen? Geverifieerd

Het opblazen van een luchtbed met de mond wordt afgeraden. Naast dat het erg lang duurt en de persoon die het luchtbed opblaast duizelig kan worden, is een groot nadeel van het met de mond opblazen van een luchtbed dat er naast lucht ook speeksel in het luchtbed wordt geblazen. Het vocht kan vervolgens het luchtbed aantasten.

De inkepingen in de vorm van het luchtbed voelen oncomfortabel aan tijdens het slapen, wat kan ik hier aan doen? Geverifieerd

Deze inkepingen in de vorm het luchtbed zijn nodig om ervoor te zorgen dat het luchtbed tijdens het opblazen niet bol gaat staan. Als deze te hard aanvoelen is het luchtbed waarschijnlijk te hard opgeblazen en kan er wat lucht uitgelaten worden.

Het luchtbed voelt koud aan, wat kan ik hieraan doen? Geverifieerd

Een luchtbed isoleert niet omdat het gevuld is met lucht. De kou van de grond trekt in de lucht van het luchtbed en maakt dat het koud aanvoelt. Om dit te voorkomen leg je een isolatiemat onder het luchtbed of een isolerend hoeslaken of isolatiefolie op het luchtbed.
