Important

20. Do not place on or near an electric burner, in a heated oven, radiators, hot gas, or

21. Use the appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
22. Oversize food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the appliance
as they may cause re or electric shock.
23. Bread may burn, therefore the appliance must not be used near or below curtains or
other combustible materials.
24. The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause
injuries.
25. Use the appliance on a level and stable work surface. Do not allow your appliance to
sit on top of the mains cable.
26. Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is in operation.
27. Be sure to take the bread out carefully after toasting so as to avoid injuries.
28. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
29. Save these instructions.
To operate the appliance, plug the toaster into the mains socket and slide the toasting lever
downwards.
Please note: The toasting lever will only stay in a downward position if the appliance is
connected to the mains!
Your appliance should be used in such a way that it is protected from moisture. e.g.
condensation, water splashes etc. Do not place or store your toaster where it can fall or
be pulled into water or any other liquids.
Do not reach for the applicance if it has fallen in any water or any other liquids. Unplug
immediately.
Make sure that children cannot touch the appliance when hot or pull the mains cable.
It is DANGEROUS to insert ngers or objects other than bread into the bread slots.
Never place your ngers or metal objects in the bread slots at any time. Do not allow
young children to play with your appliance.
Only place toast bread in your toaster. Do not attempt to toast any pastry or bread
product which is lled with a fruit or sugary lling (pop tarts etc). The llings may leak
from the product and cause damage to your appliance with the possible risk of a re
occurring.
Your appliance must be watched when in use. Do not leave your toaster unattended,
as bread may jam in the bread slots.

De meeste broodrooster werken met een verwarmingselement. Wanneer een broodrooster voor de eerste keer gebruikt wordt moet deze opwarmen vanaf kamertemperatuur. Wanneer er daarna meteen nog meer brood geroosterd wordt, is het verwarmingselement al heet en wordt het brood sneller geroosterd.
