2 Dry your hair

1 Connect the plug to a power supply socket.

2 Adjust the airow switch ( d ) to for gentle airow and

styling, or for strong airow and fast drying.

3 Adjust the temperature switch ( e ) to for hot airow,

for warm airow, or for eciently drying your hair at

a constant caring temperature. Press the Cool shot button

( f ) for cool airow to x your style.

» ( HP8238 only )The appliance with ionic function provides

additional shine and reduces frizz. The ion function may

produce a special odor. It is normal and caused by the

ions which are generated.

Volume diuser (HP8238, HP8217 only):

The volume diuser ( c ) is specially developed to gently

dry both straight and curly or wavy hair.

1 To enhance your natural volume and maintain your curls,

hold the dryer vertically to dry your hair.

2 To add volume at the roots, insert the pins into your hair

in such a way that they touch your scalp.

3 Make rotating movements with the appliance to distribute

the warm air through your hair.

After use:

1 Switch o the appliance and unplug it.

2 Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.

3 Take the air inlet grille ( a ) o the appliance to remove

hair and dust.

» Rotate the air inlet grille anti-clockwise to take if o the

appliance.

» Rotate the air inlet grille clockwise to reattach it to the

appliance.

4 Keep it in a safe and dry place, free of dust. You can also

hang it with the hanging loop ( b ).

2 Séchage des cheveux

1 Branchez la che sur la prise d’alimentation.

2 Réglez le ux d’air ( d ) sur (ux d’air modéré pour

la mise en forme) ou (ux d’air puissant pour un

séchage rapide).

3 Réglez le bouton de réglage de la température ( e ) sur

pour un ux d’air très chaud, sur pour un ux d’air

chaud ou sur pour un séchage ecace de vos cheveux

à une température constante. Appuyez sur le bouton du

ux d’air froid ( f ) pour xer votre mise en forme.

» ( HP8238 uniquement) l’appareil avec fonction ionisante

ore une brillance supplémentaire et réduit les frisottis. la

fonction ionisante est automatiquement activée lorsque

l’appareil est mis sous tension.

Diuseur de volume (HP8238, HP8217 uniquement) :

Le diuseur de volume ( c ) permet de sécher en douceur

les cheveux lisses, bouclés et ondulés.

1 Pour améliorer votre volume naturel et conserver vos

boucles, maintenez le sèche-cheveux verticalement

lorsque vous vous séchez les cheveux.
