Using the AVLS feature
The AVLS switch allows you to limit the
maximum volume of your Walkman
personal stereo without degrading the
sound quality.
•When the AVLS switch is set to LIMIT, the
volume will be kept at a moderate level
without the degradation of the sound
quality, even if you attempt to turn the
volume up higher.
•When the AVLS switch is set to LIMIT, the
playback sound may be distorted or
unstable according to the music (especially
bass boosted part). If this happens, turn
down the volume.
•When the AVLS switch is set to NORM,
you will be able to enjoy the full volume
capability of your Walkman personal
stereo.

adjust the ST/MONO selector or DX/LOCAL

Utilisation du système AVLS
Le commutateur AVLS vous permet de
limiter le volume de votre Walkman sans
affecter la qualité sonore.
•Quand le commutateur AVLS est réglé sur
la position LIMIT, le volume est maintenu
à un niveau modéré, sans diminution de la
qualité sonore, même si vous tentez de
l’augmenter.
•Quand le commutateur AVLS est réglé sur
la position LIMIT, le son risque d’être
déformé ou instable à la lecture selon le
type de musique (surtout le son des graves
accentués). Dans ce cas, baissez le volume.
•Quand le commutateur AVLS est réglé sur
NORM, vous pouvez profiter de toute la
capacité de volume de votre Walkman.
