Installation Instructions

WARRANTY INFORMATION

WARNING: TO AVOID RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, BE SURE TO SHUT OFF POWER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING THIS FIXTURE.

This Westinghouse Lighting Fixture is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period

of Five Years from purchase date. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied.

This warranty does not cover acts of nature such as lightning damage, or corrosion and discoloration of

components, nor does it cover damages caused through abuse, improper installation, surges in electric

current, or acts of third parties.

This warranty does not cover costs of removing and re-installing the lighting fixture.

1. Read all instructions carefully before installation and operation.

2. If you are not familiar with state and local electrical codes, it is recommended that you consult with a

qualified electrician.

3. Do not use in wet locations, use indoors only.

4. Non-replaceable LEDs.

5. Caution: LEDs emit bright light. Avoid looking directly into the light source for prolonged periods to

avoid eye damage.

6. Not to be used with a dimming circuit or any other electronically controlled switch.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR INDOOR LIGHTING FIXTURE

Congratulations on your Westinghouse purchase. This fixture has been designed to give you many years

NOTE: Carefully unpack fixture and parts. Make sure all parts are included before discarding any packing

materials.

INSTALLATION STEPS

1. Turn off power at fuse box to avoid possible electric shock.

2. Remove lens from fixture pan and place fixture pan (2) flush against ceiling at desired outlet box (1)

location. Using outside set of fixture pan holes (16) as a guide, mark where pilot holes are to be drilled.

3.

Drill 4 - 1/8 inch holes at each pencil mark then insert wall anchors (14) by gently tapping with a hammer.

Partially thread anchor screws (15) into wall anchors (14).

4. Pull the supply wires (4 & 5) and house ground wire (6) out from the outlet box (1).

5. Connect the fixture ground wire (11) to the house ground wire (6) together using wire nut (7).

6. Wrap all wire connections with electrical tape to ensure secure connection.

7. Electrical connections. Connect the black fixture wire (10) to the black supply wire (5), and the white

fixture wire (9) to the white supply wire (4) using wire nut (7). Wrap all wire connections with electrical

tape to ensure secure connection.

8. Carefully tuck all wires back into the outlet box. Place the fixture pan (2) over outlet box and feed

anchor screws (15) through the fixture pan's keyhole slots. Slide the fixture pan (2) until anchor screws (15)

CLEANING AND CARE

To clean, wipe fixture with soft cloth. Clean glass with mild soap. Spray from chemical cleaners can discolor

the finish of fixture. Do not use scouring pads, powders, steel wool or abrasive paper to clean this fixture.

NOTE FOR FIXTURES THAT ARE SOLID BRASS:

Your hand-crafted, solid brass lighting fixture has been coated with a durable, baked-on acrylic lacquer

which gives maximum protection against the weather. However, in time the brightness of the brass will

tarnish, giving way to an authentic old-world brass finish. To keep your solid brass fixture looking new for

years to come, regularly apply a good quality, non-abrasive car wax to all metal surfaces, giving the fixture

an extra protective covering.

slide into the narrow end of the keyhole slots and tighten firmly.

9. Thread the fixture screws (8) into the appropriate threaded holes of the outlet box (1) and tighten securely.

10. Final assembly - Secure the lens (3) and ring (12) to fixture pan (2) using four cap nuts (13).

Installation complete, restore power at the circuit breaker and turn light switch on to activate this fixture.
