CONTROLS

The hood is ﬁ tted with a control panel with

aspiration speed selection control and a

light switch to control cooking area lights.

Use the high suction speed in cases

of concentrated kitchen vapours. It is

recommended that the cooker hood suction

is switched on for 5 minutes prior to cooking

and to leave in operation during cooking

and for another 15 minutes approximately

after terminating cooking.

The control switches are located on the

hood’s front panel:

1. OFF/Stand By key

With running hood, press shortly to set

the hood to “Stand by” (LED “b” on),

press longer (at least 2 seconds) to

switch off the hood completely (OFF

– all functions are deactivated except

for lighting).

Press longer (at least 2 seconds) to set

the hood back to “Stand by”.

4. Speed selection key 1-2-3-1-2-......

5. ON/OFF intensive speed key:

Time - 5 minutes, the display shows the

letter P and the remaining running time,

LED “a” ﬂ ashes.

After the 5 running minutes the hood

gets back to the speed set previously.

6. Timer ON/OFF key (LED “b” ﬂ ashing)

– delays hood switching-off according

to the speed selected:

speed 1: 20 minutes

speed 2: 15 minutes

speed 3: 10 minutes

The display also shows the remaining

running time.

Filter saturation signal

The hood can signal when the ﬁ lters are

saturated and maintenance is therefore

necessary:

Antigrease ﬁ lter saturation signal: the

display shows the letter F.

Activated charcoal ﬁ lter saturation signal:

the display shows the letter C.

Note: The activated charcoal ﬁ lter

saturation signal is deactivated, proceed as

follows to activate it:

Keep keys 4 and 5 pressed

contemporaneously for 3 seconds. At ﬁ rst

the display shows the letter F, then the

letter C. The saturation state control has

now been activated.

To deactivate: keep keys 4 and 5 pressed

for 3 seconds until the letter C disappears

from the diplay.

Restoring the saturation signal

After servicing the ﬁ lters, press key 1 for 3

seconds until the letter F – antigrease ﬁ lter

saturation indicator or the letter C –

activated charcoal ﬁ lter saturation indicator

stops ﬂ ashing.

Attention! In case the hood or the controls

do not work cut power supply for at least

5 seconds and then reconnect. Wait for

15 seconds and check if the hood works

properly.

LIGHTING

Disconnect the hood from the electricity.

Warning! Prior to touching the light bulbs

ensure they are cooled down.

Replace with a new 12 Volt, 20 Watt

(Maximum) halogen light made for a G-4

base SUITABLE FOR USE IN OPEN

LUMINAIRES. Follow package directions

and do not touch new light with bare hands.

Heb ik een afzuigkap met of zonder motor nodig? Geverifieerd

Afzuigkappen met motor zijn bedoeld voor wanneer er een directe luchtafvoer naar buiten beschikbaar is. Een afzuigkap zonder motor is bedoeld om aan te sluiten wanneer er een centraal afzuigsysteem is. Sluit nooit een afzuigkap met motor aan op een centraal afzuigsysteem!

Hoe kan ik de filters van mijn AEG afzuigkap reinigen? Geverifieerd

De filters van alle AEG afzuigkappen kunnen met de hand gewassen worden. Van sommige modellen kan het filter in de vaatwasser. Dit is te vinden in de handleiding. Zorg dat het filter weer droog is wanneer het wordt teruggeplaatst in de afzuigkap.
