4. Nunca use este aparato si la clavija de contacto o
el cable están dañados. Si el aparato no funciona
correctamente, o si se ha caído, dañado o si ha
sido sumergido en agua, devuélvalo a un Centro
Autorizado de Servicio Andis para que sea revisado
y reparado.
5. Mantenga el cable alejado de cualquier superficie
caliente. No enrolle el cable en el aparato.
6. Nunca use este aparato mientras duerma.

Este artefacto tiene un enchufe polarizado (una patilla es más ancha que

insertarse completamente en el tomacorriente, invierta el enchufe. Si aún
no puede insertarse, póngase en contacto con un electricista calificado.

adicional de seguridad, estas tenacillas se apagarán automáticamente
después de una hora.
AJUSTES DE TEMPERATURA
La temperatura para crear peinados dependerá de la textura y de la
condición del cabello. En líneas generales, para cabello fino, blanqueado
o en malas condiciones, utilice los ajustes más bajos. Para cabello
normal, utilice los ajustes más altos. Una vez que sus tenacillas de rizar
alcancen la temperatura seleccionada, la mantendrán durante el proceso

1. Always “unplug it” immediately after using.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or
be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
5. If an appliance falls into water, “unplug it”
immediately. Do not reach into the water.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns,
electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:
1. An appliance should never be left unattended when
plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance
is used by, on or near children or individuals with
certain disabilities.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as
described in this manual. Do not use attachments
not recommended by Andis Company.
4. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged
cord or plug. If it is not working properly, or if it has
been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water,
return the appliance to an Andis Authorized Service
Station for examination and repair.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not
wrap the cord around the appliance.
6. Never use while sleeping.
7. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol
(spray) products are being used or where oxygen
is being administered.
8. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
9. This iron is hot when in use. Do not let eyes and
bare skin touch heated surfaces.
10. Do not place the heated curling iron directly on any
surface while it is hot or plugged in. Use the stand
provided.

THIS APPLIANCE IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
As a safety feature, the plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature. As an added safety feature, this iron will automatically shut off
after one hour.
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
The styling temperature will depend on your hair’s texture and condition.
Generally, for fine, bleached or hair in poor condition, use lower settings.
For normal hair, use higher settings Once your curling wand reaches the
temperature you select, it maintains it all through styling.
CURLING TIPS
For tighter curls, use the narrower section of the barrel; for looser curls,
use the wider section. The amount of curl will depend on how long you
keep hair wrapped around the wand and the amount of hair you curl at
one time. The longer you keep hair wrapped, the tighter the curl. The
more hair you curl at one time, the looser the curl.
TO USE YOUR ANDIS CONICAL CURLING WAND
1. To pre-heat your Andis curling wand, plug into an electrical outlet.
Push the ON button and turn temperature dial to desired setting.
When the unit is first turned on, the red light will blink. When the wand
reaches the selected temperature, the red light will stop blinking.
2. Always make certain that your hair is completely dry before styling with
your curling wand. Part off a section of hair to be curled. Comb
through section to smooth out any snarls. Hold ends taught with one
hand.
3. Take sectioned hair and wrap around wand; wrap the ends last. Keep
hair wrapped around wand by holding the very ends with your
fingertips. Be careful not to get fingertips too close to hot wand.
4. Gently unwrap hair and withdraw the wand. For added support, secure
curls with clips and spray lightly with a good quality hair spray. Always
allow curls to cool completely before brushing or combing them.
5. Be sure to turn the wand off by pushing the “OFF” button when you
are done.

Untwist cord before use. After use, allow unit to cool, re-wrap cord and
store in a safe place. Do not wrap cord around appliance. Do not hang
the unit by the power cord.

PARA UTILIZAR SUS TENACILLAS DE RIZAR
CÓNICAS DE ANDIS
1. Para precalentar las tenacillas de rizar Andis, enchúfelas en un
tomacorriente eléctrico. Pulse el botón de encendido “ON” y gire la
perilla de temperatura al ajuste deseado. La primera vez que se
enciende la unidad, la luz roja parpadeará. Cuando las tenacillas llegan
a la temperatura seleccionada, la luz roja dejará de parpadear.
2. Siempre asegúrese de que su cabello esté completamente seco antes
de crear peinados con sus tenacillas de rizar. Separe una sección de
cabello que desee rizar. Peine esta sección para eliminar los nudos.
Sujete firmemente los extremos con una mano.
3. Tome el cabello seccionado y enróllelo alrededor de las tenacillas; por
último enrolle los extremos. Mantenga el cabello enrollado alrededor

los rizos se enfríen completamente antes de cepillarlos o peinarlos.
5. Asegúrese de apagar las tenacillas, pulsando el botón de apagado
(“OFF”) cuando haya terminado.

This high-heat capability requires special care when using the highest
temperature settings.
We recommend to test on a lower setting and gradually adjust to a
higher setting – only if you do not achieve your preferred results.
NOTE: Use of higher than necessary temperatures can
damage your hair.
