OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR IRONING BOARD

Please read instructions for use carefully and keep for reference.

Instructions on use: Using one hand, hold the folded ironing board with

the ironing surface facing up and squeeze the height adjustment lever with

your other hand. The stand opens to its maximum position.(1) To adjust the

height of the ironing board, hold the stand with both hands and pull on the

lever at the side to release the catch. Set the desired height and let go of the

lever so that the stand locks into place.(2) To fold the ironing board together,

simply squeeze the height adjustment lever, push the legs of the stand back

until they touch the underside of the ironing board, and allow the safety

catch to engage with the clinch bolt. Ensure that the device is on a level

surface and is fully engaged. This ironing board has a height adjustment

stabilizer on one foot. When the surface is uneven, simply spin the foot cap

to level the board.(3) The ironing board is provided with a power socket

(250 V, 16 A) and a approx. 2-metre extension cable. Insert the mains plug

of the iron into the socket on the ironing board and plug the approx. 2-metre

extension cable directly in at the wall socket without an extension cable. To

iron comfortably, place the cable in the holder at the end of the vertical arm.

Safety instructions: Be careful with your hands and ngers whenever you

set up the ironing board or fold it together. Do not leave the iron on the

ironing board for any length of time. This is not a toy. Please keep children

at a distance. Do not sit on or lean against the ironing board. This ironing

board is only designed for domestic use. There is a hazard from hot water

or steam dripping from the mesh of the ironing board. The iron rest may be-

come hot if used for any lengthy period. Pay attention to directions already

mentioned in order to avoid re injuries. Any professional use, use under in-

appropriate conditions and handling of the ironing board that deviates from

the instructions on use is prohibited. Never attempt to repair the equipment

yourself. There would be a hazard due to the risk of an electric shock! Keep

the equipment away from water and other liquids. If the connecting cable

of this equipment is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, his

customer service or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid hazards.
