Como usar

Este aparato es solamente para uso doméstico y puede ser conectado a una

toma de corriente normal. Sirve para preparar salsas, sopas frías y calientes,

aderezos para ensaladas, mayonesa, alimentos para bebé y una variedad de

bebidas frías y calientes. Se puede introducir en las ollas de revestimiento

antiadherente sin dañarles el acabado de la superficie.

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO

Desempaque el aparato y limpie según las instrucciones de limpieza en la

sección Cuidado y limpieza.

Importante: La cuchilla viene bien afilada; tenga cuidado al desempacar el

aparato.

INSTALACIÓN DEL SOPORTE DE MONTAJE DE PARED (A)

Cuando se escoge el lugar de instalación del soporte de montaje, se debe

permitir suficiente espacio arriba del soporte, a fin de poder retirar el aparato

fácilmente con la mano. Asi mismo, se debe permitir suficiente holgura por

abajo para que el aparato cuelgue libremente.

1. Utilice el soporte de montaje como plantilla para

marcar los agujeros en la pared.

2. Perfore los agujeros para acomodar las anclas

provistas.

3. Instale una ancla en cada agujero y presione

bien hacia adentro con los dedos o golpee

ligeramente con un martillo.

4. Coloque el soporte en la pared.

5. Haga coincidir los agujeros del soporte con los de las anclas en la pared.

6. Sujete el soporte firmemente y apriete bien los tornillos.

Importante: A fin de reducir el riesgo de incendio o de choque eléctrico, no

opere ningún aparato que emita calor debajo del soporte de montaje. No

instale el soporte de montaje/almacenamiento sobre ni cerca de ningún

aparato de calefacción ni de cocinar.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL APARATO

1. Enchufe el aparato a una toma de corriente normal.

2. Sujete el mango e introduzca la batidora de inmersión adentro de la

mezcla.

3. Presione el interruptor de encendido/apagado

(1/0) para encender el aparato (B). El aparato

funciona continuamente siempre que uno

presione el interruptor.

Nota: Mientras el aparato se encuentra en

funcionamiento, es normal que aumente la fuerza

de succión en el fondo del recipiente.

4. Cuando termine de mezclar, suelte el interruptor

de encendido/apagado (1/0) antes de retirar el

aparato de la mezcla.

5. Desenchufe el aparato inmediatamente después de utilizarlo.

CONSEJOS ÚTILES

• Corte los alimentos sólidos en pedazos de 13 mm (1/2 pulg) para facilitar el

proceso de mezclado o picado.

• Mueva el aparato de arriba hacia abajo al licuar, al mezclar o al preparar

puré.

• Para evitar las salpicaduras, mantenga las cuchillas debajo de la superficie

de los ingredientes a procesar.

• Si utiliza la unidad directamente en una olla o sartén, asegúrese de

retirarlos del fuego antes de mezclar.

• Utilice solamente el hielo ya triturado; la batidora no ha sido diseñada para

picar hielo.

Cuidado y limpieza

Este aparato viene permanentemente lubricado de fábrica y no requiere

lubricación suplementaria. No contiene piezas de utilidad para el

consumidor. Para cualquier tipo de servicio, uno debe de acudir al personal

calificado.

LIMPIEZA

1. Vierta 1-1/2 taza de agua tibia en la taza de medir

provista, agregue una gota de detergente líquido e

introduzca el aparato con la cuchilla hacia abajo.

Haga funcionar el aparato durante 20 segundos (C).

2. Retire el aparato, desconecte y enjuague la

cuchilla con agua tibia de la llave. Seque bien.

Importante: La cuchilla viene bien afilada; tenga

cuidado al secarla.

3. Enjuague la taza de medir con agua tibia de la

llave y seque bien.

4. Limpie el cuerpo del aparato con un paño o con

una esponja humedecida. Jamás sumerja el

cuerpo del aparato en agua ni en ningún otro

líquido.

Coloque el aparato en el soporte de montaje de

pared (D).

How to Use

This unit is for household use and can be plugged into a standard electric

outlet. It easily prepares sauces, hot and cold soups, salad dressings,

mayonnaise, baby foods and a variety of hot and cold drinks. It can be used

in nonstick pans without scratching the nonstick surface.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Unpack unit and clean as instructed in the Care and Cleaning section.

Important: The blade is very sharp. Be careful when unpacking the unit.

INSTALLING WALL-MOUNT BRACKET (A)

When selecting a mounting location, be sure to leave enough room above

the bracket for your hand to remove the unit. Also be sure to leave enough

room below the bracket to allow the appliance to hang freely.

1. Using the bracket as a template, mark position for

the holes on the wall.

2. Drill holes to accommodate wall anchors

supplied.

3. Place wall anchor in each hole and push

completely into the hole with fingers or tap in

gently with a hammer.

4. Place bracket on the wall.

5. Align holes on bracket with those on wall anchors.

6. Hold bracket steady and tighten screws to secure in place.

Important: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not operate any

heating appliance beneath the mounting unit. Do not mount the storage

bracket/unit over or near any portion of a heating or cooking appliance.

USING YOUR UNIT

1. Plug unit into a standard electric outlet.

2. Grasp the handle and insert the immersion blender into the mixture.

3. Press the on/off (1/0) switch to turn on the unit (B).

The unit will keep running as long as the switch is

pressed.

Note: During use, it is normal for suction to increase

at the bottom of the container.

4. When blending is complete, release the on/off

(1/0) switch before removing unit from the

mixture.

5. Unplug unit immediately after use.

OPERATING TIPS

• Cut solid foods into 1/2-inch pieces for easier blending or chopping.

• Use an up and down motion for blending, mixing and pureeing.

• To prevent splatters, keep the blades below the surface of the ingredients

being blended.

• If using the immersion blender directly in a saucepan, be sure to remove

the pan from the heat before using the blender.

• Use only crushed ice; the blender is not designed to chop ice.

Care and Cleaning

This appliance is permanently lubricated and will not require additional

lubrication. It contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified

service personnel.

TO CLEAN

1. Place 1-1/2 cups warm water in mixing cup, add 1

drop liquid detergent and insert blender with

blades down. Run for 20 seconds (C).

2. Remove unit, unplug and rinse blades under warm

running water. Dry thoroughly.

Important: the blade is very sharp. Be careful when

drying it.

3. Rinse mixing cup in warm water and dry

thoroughly.

4. Wipe unit body with a damp cloth or sponge.

Never immerse unit body in water or any other

liquids.

TO STORE

Place unit into the wall-mount bracket (D).
