Digital Luggage Scale

USING THE LUGGAGE SCALE

1. Before first use, pull the battery tab from the battery compartment to engage

the battery.

2. Press and hold the POWER/CLEAR button until the scale turns on. The LCD

will read “0.0” when the scale is ready to weigh an item.

3. Press the LB/KG button to display weight in pounds or kilograms.

4. Loop the STRAP through a handle of the item to be weighed and secure the

HOOK over the STRAP. Lift the item off the floor keeping the scale

perpendicular to the floor. When the item is steady and the weight is

consistent, the LCD will flash 2 times and the scale will beep to lock the item’s

weight on the LCD. The weight will display for 10 seconds.

5. Press the POWER/CLEAR button to clear the current weight and reset the

scale to “0.0”.

6. Press and hold the POWER/CLEAR button until the scale turns off or the

scale will power off automatically after 15 seconds of non-use.

Note:

• The LCD screen will display “Err” if the item is over the 85 lb. weight capacity for

the scale.

• Attaching an item to the scale prior to powering on may cause a false zero

weight setting.

REPLACING THE BATTERY

1. Remove the battery compartment door.

2. Insert one CR 2025 button cell battery according to the polarity indicators

inside the compartment.

3. Replace the battery compartment door.

Note: Replace battery when the Low Battery icon appears on the display.

CAUTION

• Dispose of the old batteries properly. Do not dispose of the old batteries in a fire.

• Do not leave the batteries where a child or pet could play with or swallow them.

If the batteries are swallowed, contact a physician immediately.

• The batteries may explode if mistreated. Do not attempt to recharge or

disassemble the batteries.

• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type. Do not mix old and new

batteries, different types of batteries, or rechargeable batteries of different

capacities.
