Remove all packaging from the heater. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it
please do so according any local regulations.
The packing includes

Hints and Tips
My heater does not work when I turn it on
1. Check that your heater is plugged in and the power is turned on at the
socket.
2. Check that your heater is in an upright position.
3. Check if the thermostat setting is too low.
4. Check if you have set a timer.
5. Try replacing the BSI or ASTS approved 13 Amp BS1362 fuse in the plug.
6. If the heater still doesn’t work, do not try to repair the heater yourself, it may
result in a re hazard or electric shock. Please leave all maintenance work to
qualied personnel.
If your heater’s power is automatically cut o follow the steps below:
1. Unplug your heater and allow it to cool down.
2. Inspect your heater. Clean the air inlet and the air outlet with a vacuum
cleaner if necessary. If there is any sign of physical damage (e.g. melting, or
burning of the case), do not attempt to use your heater. Contact your
authorised service agent.
3. Plug-in the heater and switch it on again. If it cuts o again, move the heater
to a better ventilated location.
For your continued safety and to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock,
please follow all the safety precautions listed below.
• Read all the instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them
for future reference.
• Retain the manual. If you pass the appliance onto a third party make sure to
include this manual.
• Check that the voltage marked on the rating label matches your mains
voltage.
• Do not kink or wrap the mains cable and plug around the appliance, as this
may cause the insulation to weaken and split, particularly where it enters the
appliance.
• Ensure the mains cable is fully extended before use and arrange it so that it is
not in contact with any part of the appliance.
• Do not pull on the mains cable. Never move, carry or hang the appliance by
the mains cable.
• Avoid the use of an extension cables as they may overheat and create a
potential re risk.
• Always position the appliance with the mains plug in an accessible position.
Never position the appliance below a mains socket.
• In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the appliance.
• The appliance must have clear place on both sides and at the back and a
minimum 1 metre cleanrance in front of the air outlet, so that both the air inlet
and outlet are not blocked.
• Do not place ammable items near the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance in wardrobes or near fabrics or clothing. Do not
stand the appliance on deep pile carpets.
• Do not use the appliance in areas such as garages where petrol, paints or
other ammable substances are used or stored.
• Do not use in very dusty areas as dust may accumulate on the heating
elements and cause overheating.
• To avoid personal injury or property damage, never insert ngers, pencils or
any other objects through the air inlet or outlet openings.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the appliance or
mains cable to rain, moisture or any other liquid.
• Do not use in the bathroom, shower or near a swimming pool. Do not use
your appliance where it could be splashed on by water or fall into water.
• Keep hands, hair, and clothing, well away from the hot surface of the
appliance while it is in operation.
• Avoid touching hot surfaces, always use the handles.
• Do not use the appliance with an external programmer, timer or any device
that switches the appliance on automatically, to prevent a re risk if the
appliance is covered or positioned incorrectly when it switches back on.
• Do not use the appliance for any other use than its intended one.
• This appliance is intended for normal indoor domestic / household use only.
• This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concern-
ing use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be kept away from the appliance when it is hot.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on - Switch off and
unplug the appliance when not use.
• Do not operate the appliance if it is malfunctioning, contact your service
agent.
• If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
