When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of re, electrical shock and/or personal injury.
• Read all the instructions carefully before using this appliance and keep them for future
reference.
• Retain the manual. If you pass the appliance on to a third party, make sure to include
this manual.
• Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating
label of the appliance.
• Unplug the appliance from mains socket when not in use and before cleaning.
• The appliance must not be left unattended while it is connected to the mains socket.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use. This appliance is for
household use only.
• The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by this manual may cause
injuries.
• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged mains cable or mains plug or visible
sign of damage or water leaks or in an abnormal state.
• If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent, or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not use the appliances in outdoors, or near heat sources.
• Do not allow the appliances to touch curtains, window coverings, clothing, dishtowels
or other ammable materials during use.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse mains cable, mains plug or
appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Make sure that the mains cable does not touch any hot surface or overhang a table
edge.
• The mains plug must be removed from the mains socket before the water reservoir is
lled with water.
• Do not stay close to the reservoir opening while relling water, as steam may come
out. Steam is extremely HOT and will scald.
• Do not point the appliance at persons, pets or delicate items.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Only use handles or knobs.
• Do not ll the reservoir with any liquids other than water.
• Always ensure the water lling does not exceed 1 litre.
• The Pressure Cap must not be opened during use.
• Make sure the appliance is placed on a stable at surface. Do not locate near the edge.
• In between operations, always place the iron on the silicon rubber iron rest of steam
generator.

STEAM GENERATOR IRON
Unpacking
Remove all packaging from the steam generator iron. Retain the packaging. If you
dispose of it please do so according to any recycling regulations.
The packing includes
• The steam generator iron appliance
• Funnel (Part number: 123G9-14)
• Intrustion Manual (Part number: C35PSG09001)

Troubleshooting
1. If the iron does not operate,
• Make sure the mains plug is connected and switched on.
• Make sure the Temperature Dial is set to the “ ” setting or higher.
• Try changing the fuse in the mains plug.
2. If water leaks from the iron soleplate,
• Make sure the Steam Generator ON/OFF button is switched OFF for dry ironing.
• Make sure the Temperature Dial is set to the highest position.
If you still have problems, return the iron to your nearest store.
After nishing Steam Ironing
1. Switch ON the Iron ON/OFF button and remain the
Steam Generator ON/OFF button switched OFF.
2. Gently slide back to lock the Steam button (Figure 10).
Leave the iron upright on a stable at surface for
10 minutes until no more steam/air comes out.
3. You may use a cloth to cover and slowly loosen the
Pressure Cap (Figure 11).
4. Switch OFF the Steam Generator ON/OFF button.
Unplug
the iron from the mains socket and allow it to cool down
for 30 minutes before draining the water out from the
reservoir.
Failure to do this step may result in a hazard to the user.

The steam will stop during use if the Steam Generator runs
out of water.
1. Switch OFF the Steam Generator ON/OFF button
and keep the Iron ON/OFF button switching ON.
2. Gently slide back to lock the Steam button (Figure
7). Leave the iron upright on a stable at surface for
10 minutes until no more steam/air comes out.
3. You may use a cloth to cover and slowly loosen the
Pressure Cap (Figure 8).
4. Rell water into the reservoir up to 1 litre by using the
supplied funnel (Figure 9). Stay away from the reservoir
as steam may come out and cause scalding.
4. Tighten the Pressure Cap.
5. Unlock the Steam button and switch ON the
Steam Generator ON/OFF button again while the
Iron ON/OFF button remains switched ON. The
temperature indicator will illuminate.
6. The steam generator iron takes 10 minutes to reach its
operating temperature and boiler pressure.
