Safety first !

Stand your steamer on a stable, level surface

during use.

Do not place or store your steamer where it can

fall or be pulled into water or any other liquid.

Do not reach for the appliance if it has

fallen in any water or any other liquid.

Unplug immediately.

Do not use any other components or dishes

other than the ones supplied.

Do not fill your steamer with any liquid other

than water and do not attempt to switch it on if

the maximum level is exceeded.

If the mains cord of this steamer is damaged, it

must be replaced (contact your nearest store).

Hot water, steam and hot food can burn.

Always use an oven glove or cloth when

removing the lid, rice bowl or steaming

baskets. Do not reach over the steamer while

it is steaming. Always remove the lid slowly

with the inside of the lid pointing away from

you to let the steam escape safely.

Your steamer should be placed away from

heat sources such as radiators,

gas/electric fires and direct sunlight.

Keep the power cord away from any heated

surfaces.

Unplug the steamer from the mains supply

before cleaning.

Use the steamer only for its intended use, as

described in this manual.

Do not use outdoors.

Your steamer is supplied with an approved 13 amp

fused mains plug.When replacing the fuse always use a

5 amp

(BS1362)

approved type.

If the mains sockets in your home differ or are not

suitable for the type of plug supplied, then the plug

should be removed and a suitable type fitted.

Please refer to the wiring instructions at the

back of this book.

Make sure that children cannot touch

the steamer when hot or pull the mains

lead.

It is DANGEROUS to place fingers or objects

other than the dish and baskets provided near

the heating element. Do not allow young

children to play with your steamer.

This steamer is intended for

home use only. It is not to be

used in commercial catering

conditions.

Never use your steamer if it is damaged in

any way.

Do not remove any fixed covers. Never use

this steamer if it is not working properly, or if

it has been dropped or damaged.
