Safety
Warning:
• Keep thegas torch out of children’sreach.
• Never store thegas torch in temperatures above +50 °C and do
not expose it to direct sunlight for long periods oftime.
• Thegas torch must only be used in well ventilated areas and well
away from flammable materials and liquids. Firehazard!
• Do not use thegas torch to light cigarettes, cigars orpipes.
• Contains extremely highly flammable pressurisedgas.
• Only use butane (intended for refilling cigarette lighters) when refilling.
• Avoid inhaling thefumes from soldering or from other applications.
Makesure thearea is well ventilated.
• Theflame of thegas torch is very hot and can burn you; protect
your hands andface. Bearin mind that theflame can be difficult
tosee.
• Make sure that thegas torch is completely turned off and cold
before putting itaway.
• Hold thegas torch upright, theflame could go out if thetorch is
used in other positions.
• Allow thetorch to cool completely before refillingit.
• Thegas torch must not be modified or disassembled.
• Do not puncture thegas canister or throw it onto thefire.
• Light thegas torch with thenozzle pointing away from your face
andhands. Bear in mind that in certain situations thebutane flame
is barely visible.
Care and maintenance
Clean theproduct using alightly moistenedcloth. Useonly mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Buttons and functions Use
1. Set thegas flow control (3) half way between – and +.
2. Slide thesafety lock (4) down with your thumb until aclick is
heard, indicating that thetorch is now in theopen position.
3. Press theignition button (1) tolight. Keepit pressed down for
as long as you wish theflame toburn. Note: Thetorch may
sometimes require 2 to 3 attempts before it ignites. Thesafety lock
must be pulled down for each attempt in order to put thetorch
back into theopen position and before pressing theignition
buttonagain.
4. Adjust theflame intensity by using thegas flow control.
5. Release theignition button to extinguish theflame. Thiswill also
reset thesafetylock.
Continuous flame
1. Set thegas flow control (3) half way between – and +.
2. Slide thesafety lock (4) down with your thumb until aclick is
heard, indicating that thetorch is now in theopen position.
3. Set theflame settings switch (2) to theCONTINUOUS position.
4. Press theignition button (1) tolight theflame.
5. Adjust theflame intensity by using thegas flow control.
6. Move theflame settings switch to theOFF position to extinguish
theflame.

Refuelling
• Note: Thegas torch is supplied without gas; fill thetorch with gas
beforeuse.
• Thegas torch operates on regular butane gas intended for
therefuelling of cigarette lighters.
• Refuel thegas torch in awell ventilated area, asafe distance from
open flames.
1. Extinguish theflame and make sure that it is completelyout.
2. Allow thegas torch to cool down for 5 minutes before filling
thegas container.
3. Remove therubber base, turn thetorch upside down and insert
thefiller nozzle of thegas container into therefill valve of thetorch.
4. Press thenozzle into therefill valve and release thegas.
Whenthegas starts escaping from thesides of thenozzle,
thegas torch is full and thegas refilling nozzle can be removed.
5. Leave thegas to stabilise for at least 2 minutes after refilling before
you use thegastorch.
This symbol indicates that this product should not be

throughout theentire EU. In order to prevent any harm to
theenvironment or health hazards caused by incorrect
waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in for
recycling so that thematerial can be disposed of in
aresponsible manner. When recycling your product, take
it to your local collection facility or contact theplace of
purchase. They will ensure that theproduct is disposed of
in anenvironmentally sound manner.
