7. The hair straightener should not be left running unattended. For

safety reasons, switch o the straightener each time you lay it down.

8. Do not switch the appliance on or o by plugging in or pulling

out the power supply plug. Always switch o the hair straightener

using its main switch and then unplug it from the electrical outlet!

9. Leaving the straightener cord connected to outlet unattended is

not recommended. Disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet

prior to any maintenance. Do not remove the power cord from the

outlet by yanking the cord. Unplug the power cord from the outlet

by grasping the plug.

10. Do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces or run the cord

over sharp edges. Do not wind the power cord around the hair

straightener.

11. Do not touch the ceramic plates, they may be hot. The straightener

may only be used on dry hair!

12. Unplug the appliance immediately after you are done using it and

let the straightener cool completely before putting away.

13. Do not use accessories, which were not recommended by the

manufacturer.

14. Use the hair straightener only in accordance with the instructions in

this manual. This hair straightener is intended for domestic use only.

The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper

use of this appliance.

15. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and

people with lower physical or mental abilities or lack of experience

and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed to

use the product in a safe manner and understand the potential

dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and

maintenance performed by the user should not be done by children

unless they are older than 8 years and under supervision. Children

under 8 years old must keep away from the appliance and its power

supply.
