Achten Sie vor dem ersten Gebrauch darauf, dass das Gerät nur mit der
Spannung und der Stromart betrieben werden darf, die auf dem Typenschild
angegeben ist.
Den Expresswasserkocher nur unter Aufsicht betreiben. Nicht auf heißen
Oberflächen oder in der Nähe von offenen Flammen abstellen oder benutzen.
Den Expresswasserkocher immer außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern
benutzen und aufbewahren.
Setzen Sie den Expresswasserkocher nicht in Betrieb, wenn die Zuleitung
defekt ist. Prüfen Sie von Zeit zu Zeit die Zuleitung auf Beschädigungen. Zeigen
sich Beschädigungen, ist die Zuleitung sofort austauschen zu lassen.
Nehmen Sie den Expresswasserkocher auf keinen Fall in Betrieb, wenn
er einmal heruntergefallen ist oder sichtbare Beschädigungen
aufweist. In diesem Fall den Expresswasserkocher zur Reparatur an den
autorisierten Fachhändler schicken. Reparaturen an Elektrogeräten,
einschließlich Austausch der Zuleitung, dürfen nur von Fachkräften
durchgeführt werden, weil Spezialwerkzeug erforderlich ist. Durch
unsachgemäße und eigenmächtige Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren
für den Benutzer entstehen.
Zur Vermeidung von Verbrühungen und Verletzungen mit dem Gerät
nicht anstoßen und das Gerät nicht über Personen halten.
Während des Betriebes von Expresswasserkochern entstehen hohe
Temperaturen, die bei unvorsichtiger Handhabung des Gerätes zu
Verbrennungen führen können. Fassen Sie das Gerät deshalb nur an dem Griff
an. Öffnen Sie nicht den Deckel.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Zuleitung besonders während des Betriebes nicht

sind.
Nehmen Sie den Expresswasserkocher nicht in Betrieb, wenn Sie nasse
Hände haben.
Das Gerät während des Betriebes nicht verrücken. Auf Standfestigkeit achten.
Zum Einfüllen und Ausgießen von Wasser den Expresswasserkocher vom
Sockel nehmen.
Das Gerät darf nur mit dem dazugehörigen Gerätesockel verwendet werden.
Achtung! Eine Überfüllung kann zum Überspritzen von kochendem Wasser
führen. Befüllen Sie deshalb den Expresswasserkocher höchstens bis zur
Maximal-Markierung.
Schützen Sie Gerät und Zuleitung vor Hitze und Nässe.
Benutzen Sie den Expresswasserkocher ausschließlich zum Erhitzen von
Wasser. Niemals Lebensmittel oder Lebensmittelzusätze in den
Expresswasserkocher geben. Niemals Milch oder Brühe im Express-
wasserkocher erhitzen. Keine Gegenstände in den Expresswasserkocher
geben! Bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch oder falscher Bedienung kann keine
Haftung übernommen werden.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals mit offenem Deckel, da sonst die
Abschaltautomatik nicht funktionieren kann.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals außerhalb von geschlossenen Räumen.

Never use the device with open lid, since otherwise the automatic shutdown
device may not work.

Connecting the water-boiler
Place the appliance base on a stable support. Locate the express water-boiler on
the appliance base this way that it clicks. Now connect the device to the supply
mains. The lead-in may be rolled up in the appliance base to the intended length
and routed out of the cable outlet.
Initiation
Before setting your new express water-boiler into operation you should cleanse it
inside and outside with a moist cloth refilling and boiling it up with fresh water two
times each for hygienic reasons. For filling always take the express water-boiler off
the appliance base.
Lift the lid and refill the unit to the desired capacity. The maximum capacity is 1,5
litres. The minimum capacity (first mark at the water gauge) is 0,25 l.
Note: Fall below or exceed the maximum capacity on no account. If the express
water-boiler is overfilled, there is a risk that boiling water will squirt out or overflow.
The express water-boiler may be placed on the appliance base at will.
Important: Be carful to properly lock the set. The automatic shut-down device
works only with the lid properly closed. Therefore lock the lid before switching
on. You energize the unit by intergrated equipment-on indicator flashes up.
Double Safety
Automatic Shut-Down Device
This is unit automaticlly cuts off and the equipment-on indicator. In case you want
to interrupt the heating process priorto automatic shut-down, take the express
water-boiler off the appliance base. The heating process is terminated. If you
intend toheat up warm water a second time, start the set again by actuating the
starting key until the water begins to reboil. Again the express water-boiler will
automatically cut off. For pouring out the hot water do not open the lid.

Protection for Becoming Dry
Do not open the lid for ponring the hot water out. All express water-boilers are
furnished with a protection for becoming dry. It screens the device against
overheating on initiation without water or emcty boiling on start-up with open lid. If
the unit is operated without any water inadvertently, it is automatically shielded
against overheating. The heating process will be stopped automatically. Allow the
device to cool down ca. 5 - 10 minutes before starting it again.
Cleaning and Upkeep
Prior to any cleansing disconnect the lead-in from the electric mains.
This express water-boiler is very easy-to-keep. Wash out the interior of the
recepteacle with clear water from time to time and decalcify it at regular
intervals. Simply wipe off the surface with a moist cloth and dry it well. Do not
use any causticand scrubbing detergents.
Never clean lead-in and plug wet. Prior to any start-up see toit that lead-in and
plug are dry having no damages.
Decalcification
In case of limy water the device should be decalcified periodically. For
decalcification apply a liquid standard deliming agent and in doing so pay
attention to ist direction for use. For decalcifying, please observe:
At first pour water into the device, then the deliming agent.
Do not meter the deliming agent too strong.
Caution: The mixture may foam when boiled up!
After decalcification wash out the glass when receptacle with clear water.
For the Sake of Environment
Do not just cast away any packaging material. Please, take the following hints:
Packaging material of cardboard can be carried to the waste-paper salvage
campaign.
As far as available:
Put the plastic pochette of polyethylene (PE) to PE collecting points for reusing.
Upholstered parts of foamedpolystyrene (PS) are free of chlorofluorocarbon
and to be put to appropriate depots (receycling yard).
Please, inquire about the receyclinyard in charge for you at your municipal
administration.

Cleaning
For cleaning the basic appliance remove the mains lead and take the basic
appliance off the base. For cleaning of all parts use a damp cloth. Possible
calcium residues on the heater can be easily removed with a vinegar solution or a
solution of commercially available decalcifiers.

Die Funktion des Wasserkochers wird dadurch nicht beeinträchtigt.
Ein Sichtbarwerden der Heizungskontur im Bodenbereich (bedingt durch
Kalkbildung) ist technisch bedingt und stellt keinen Qualitätsmangel dar.
Diesbezügliche Garantieleistungen können nicht geltend gemacht werden.

Congatulations on purchasing your new express water-boiler. Do not hold
appliance overshead. You have bought a technicallyreliable applicance
facilitating the everyday preparartion of hot water for you. As with every technical
device it is also essential for this express water-boiler to observe some basic
things. For this reason, blease, read these direction for use attentively and
preserve it carefully.
Safety Instructions
Before first application see to it the device must be operated only with the
voltage and current type specified on the nameplat.
Run the express water-boiler under supervision only. Do not deposit or use it
on hot surfaces or in proximity to naked flames.
Always use and keep the express water-boiler out of children’s reach.
If the lead-in is defective, do not put the express water-boiler into operation.
Check the ead-in for damages from time to time. If any damages appear, the
lead-in is to get replaced immediately. By no means set the express water-
boiler to work once that it has been dropped or if it has obvious damages. In
this case send the express water-boiler to the authorized dealer to get it
repaired. Any repairs at electrical appliances incluiding exchange of the lead-it
must be performed by qualified personnel only, because special tools are
recuired. Considerable dangers for the user may arise from inappropriate and
unauthorized repairs. In order to avoid scalds and injuries do not bump this
and do not hold it over persons. To avoidscalding and in jury handle appliance
with care.
During the operation of express water-boilers high temperatures will be
produced, which may lead to burns on careless handling of the device,
Therfore take the unit only by grip. Do not open the lid.
Espascially during operation see to it that the lead-in does not hang down.
There is a risk of overturning the device.

Anschließen des Wasserkochers
Stellen Sie den Gerätesockel auf eine feste Unterlage. Positionieren Sie den
Expresswasserkocher so auf dem Gerätesockel, dass er einrastet. Schließen Sie
das Gerät nun an das Netz an. Die Zuleitung kann im Gerätesockel bis zur
gewünschten Länge aufgewickelt und aus dem Kabelaustritt geführt werden.
Inbetriebnahme
Bevor Sie Ihren Expresswasserkocher in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie ihn aus
hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen und 2x
mit jeweils frischem Wasser auffüllen und aufkochen. Zum Befüllen ist der
Expresswasserkocher stets vom Gerätesockel zu nehmen. Heben Sie den
Deckel und füllen Sie das Gerät bis zur gewünschten Füllmenge auf.
Achtung: Keinesfalls die Mindestfüllmenge unterschreiten bzw. die maximale
Füllmenge überschreiten. Wenn der Expresswasserkocher überfüllt wird, besteht
die Gefahr, dass kochendes Wasser herausspritzt oder überläuft. Der
Expresswasserkocher kann beliebig auf den Gerätesockel gestellt werden.
Wichtig: Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie das Gerät richtig verschließen. Die
Abschaltautomatik funktioniert nur bei richtig verschlossenem Deckel. Deshalb
unbedingt vor dem Einschalten den Deckel schließen. Sie schalten das Gerät ein,
indem Sie die rote Einschalttaste betätigen. Die integrierte Betriebsanzeige
leuchtet gleichzeitig auf.
Doppelte Sicherheit
Abschaltautomatik
Das Gerät schaltet automatisch ab und die Betriebsanzeige erlischt, nachdem
das Wasser kocht.
Falls Sie den Heizvorgang vor dem automatischen Abschalten unterbrechen
wollen, nehmen Sie den Expresswasserkocher vom Gerätesockel. Der
Heizvorgang wird beendet. Wollen Sie bereits erhitztes Wasser noch einmal
erhitzen, nehmen Sie durch Betätigen der Einschalttaste das Gerät abermals in
Betrieb bis das Wasser erneut zu kochen beginnt. Der Expresswasserkocher
schaltet sich wieder automatisch ab.
Zum Ausgießen des heißen Wassers Deckel nicht öffnen!
Trockengehschutz
Alle Expresswasserkocher sind mit einem Trockengehschutz ausgestattet.
Dieser schützt das Gerät vor Überhitzung bei Inbetriebnahme ohne Wasser oder
bei Leerkochen bei Inbetriebnahme mit geöffnetem Deckel. Wird das Gerät
einmal versehentlich ohne Wasser betrieben, ist es automatisch vor Überhitzung
geschützt. Der Heizvorgang wird automatisch unterbrochen. Vor erneuter
Inbetriebnahme das Gerät ca. 5 - 10 Minuten abkühlen lassen.
Reinigung und Pflege
Vor jeder Reinigung Zuleitung vom Stromnetz trennen.
Der Expresswasserkocher ist sehr pflegeleicht. Das Innere des Behälters
gelegentlich mit klarem Wasser ausspülen und in regelmäßigen Abständen
entkalken. Die Oberfläche einfach mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen und gut
abtrocknen. Keine scharfen und scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
Zuleitung und Stecker niemals feucht reinigen. Vor jeder Inbetriebnahme
darauf achten, dass Zuleitung und Stecker trocken sind sowie keine
Beschädigung aufweisen.
Entkalken
Bei kalkhaltigem Wasser sollte das Gerät in regelmäßigen Zeitabständen entkalkt
werden. Verwenden Sie zum Entkalken ein handelsübliches, flüssiges
Entkalkungsmittel und beachten Sie dabei dessen Gebrauchsanweisung.

l'eau bouillante peut s'échapper. C'est la raison pour laquelle nous
recommandons de remplir la bouilloire jusqu'à la marque supérieure.
Eloigner l'appareil et le câble des sources de chaleur et de l'humidité.
Utiliser la bouilloire uniquement pour faire bouillir de l'eau. Ne jamais remplir la
bouilloire avec des aliments. Ne jamais faire bouillir du lait ou réchauffer de la
bouillie dans cet appareil. Ne pas mettre d'objet dans la bouilloire. En cas
d'utilisation contraire, la garantie ne peut être invoquée.
Toujours fermer le couvercle lors de l'utilisation pour permettre à la fonction
d'arrêt automatique de fonctionner.
Ne pas utiliser la bouilloire à l'extérieur.
