•Neverallowtheheatingbaseorthekettle

to make contact with or be immersed in

water. However, should this happen, have

the unit examined by a qualified person.

If repairs are needed, including the

replacement of the power cord please send

the appliance to our customer service

department.

•Donotoperatetheapplianceifitorthe

power cord shows any signs of damage,

or the appliance has been dropped.

•Alwaysremovetheplugfromthewallsocket

after use or in case of any malfunction or

before cleaning.

•Whenremovingtheplugfromthewall

socket, never pull on the power cord.

•Childrendonotrecognizethedangersthat

OPERATION GUIDELINES

Before using for the first time

•Priortoinitialuse,cleanthekettlebygoing

through several boiling cycles, using clean

water with each cycle and filling the kettle

toitsuppermarking.Whenthewater

reaches boiling point, the kettle switches

off automatically.

•Placetheheatingbase(5)onarmand

level surface.

•Pourthedesiredamountofcleanwater

intothekettle(3).Donottouchanypart

of the kettle except the handle (7).

Whentheapplianceisinuse,ensurethat

the lid (1) is properly closed.

•Theamountofwatercanbemeasuredby

the level mark (4) on the outside of the

kettle.Alwayspayattentiontotheminimum

and maximum levels and ensure that the lid

(1) is properly and firmly closed.

•Positionthekettleinsuchawayonthe

base(5)thattheundersideofthekettlets

precisely into the contact on the base.

•Inserttheplugintoawallsocket.

•Puttheon /offswitch(8)toits‘ON’position

to start the heating process. The indicator

light in the water level window will turn on.

•Assoonasthewaterreachesboilingpoint,

theon/offswitch(8)returnsautomatically

to the OFF position and the indicator lamp

will go out. The kettle can also be

switchedoffmanuallybyputtingtheon/off

switch to the OFF position.

•Thehotwatermaynowbepouredsafely

through the spout.

•Thiskettleisequippedwithasafetycut-out

to protect the appliance from damage in

case of inappropriate use.

•Shouldtheappliancebeaccidentally

operated without water or if all the water

has evaporated the safety cut out will

automatically switch off the heating

element.
