IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including

the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully.

2. Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet

(230Va.c.)

3. Before using the unit, move it two to four inches away from the wall. Remove any object that

may have been on top of the unit.

4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be

replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest authorized service center.

5. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.

6. Do not place on or near gas stove, electric stove or in a heated oven.

7. Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or knobs.

8. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

9. Do not use accessories not recommended or sold with this unit.

10. Keep curtains, furniture, flammable materials, etc. away from the unit and from the

convenience outlet where the unit is plugged.

11. Extreme caution must be taken in moving an appliance containing hot oil or liquids.

12. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.

13. Do not use metal scouring in cleaning the unit.

14. CAUTION: Never leave the unit unattended while cooking.

15. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the unit in water.

16. Save this instruction for future reference.

17. For household use only, not for industrial use.

ASSEMBLY

1. Place the unit on a flat stable surface.

2. Place the Teflex Grill Plate or the Skillet Plate on top of the Cool Touch Base. Be sure that it

is properly fixed.

3. Place the Oil Drip Tray on the bottom of the Grill Plate.
