Handleiding

Begin by carefully inserting

your fingers between each leaf

of the star to separate one from

another. Expand the legs of

the star by placing your

fingers inside, starting with

the center and working outward.

Pull the star open further until the

two strings can be pulled loosely

together. You might have some

points with a flattened bend in

them. Carefully pinch the star

point together to force the tip open.

You may need to reach inside to

unstick the tip to open it up.

Tie the string together. Be sure

to pull the string tight enough to

eliminate any gap between the two

halves, as shown..

STAR LAMP ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: THIS LAMP USES A 10 WATT "COMPACT FLUORESCENT" BULB EQUIVALENT

TO 40 WATTS. DO NOT USE AN OLD-FASHIONED INCANDESCENT LIGHT BULB. COMPACT

FLUORESCENT BULBS REMAIN COOL TO THE TOUCH, USE LESS ENERGY AND LAST FOR YEARS.

HEY ARE READILY AVAILABLE AT WAL-MART, HOME DEPOT AND SIMILAR STORES.

Insert the compact fluorescent bulb

into the socket as shown. Compact

fluorescent bulbs are energy

efficient, remain cool to the touch,

and save money. Do not use an

incandescent bulb with the

paper star, as it may become

hot and cause a fire.

Congratulations! Your star lamp is

now ready to hang from a ceiling

hook. You can use a second hook

mounted at the top of the wall to

make the cord trail down to the

floor cleanly. We hope you enjoy

your new star lamp!

Next, gently fan out the leaves,

carefully working apart any sticky

leaves from one another.

Insert the bulb and socket into

the opening of the star. When

the socket is completely inside the

star, it should close like a clamshell

around the cord. There may be a

small gap remaining, but this will

close when the lamp is hung.

in een punt te steken.

Van binnen naar buiten.

Daarna, zorgvuldig

de punten uitbladeren,

om het eventuele kleven

van de bladen los te werken.

Doe dit voorzichtig

en zonder kracht.

Knijp zorgvuldig in

de punten van de ster om

eventuele kromme punten

in vorm te krijgen.

Trek de ster verder open

tot u de twee koorden

aan elkaar vast

kunt strikken.

Gebruik bij voorkeur

een spaarlamp.

Deze zijn energiezuinig

en blijven koel bij aanraking.

Gebruik geen gloeilamp

hoger dan 40 watt, aangezien

deze te heet kan worden.

Steek de lamp in

de opening van de ster,

zodat het koord kan sluiten.

Uw sterlamp is nu klaar

om op te hangen.
