My heater does not work when I turn it on
• Check that your heater is plugged in and the power is turned on at the mains socket.
• The heater may be overheating. Switch it o and allow it to completely cool down for at least
30 minutes, then switch it on again.
• Check that your heater is in an upright position.
• Check if the thermostat setting is too low.
• If the heater still does not work, do not try to repair the heater yourself.
If your heater’s power is automatically cut o follow the steps
below:
1. Unplug your heater and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes.
2. Inspect your heater. Clean your heater, if necessary. If there is any sign of physical damage
(e.g. melting or burning of the case), do not attempt to use your heater. Please leave all
maintenance work to qualied personnel.
3. Plug in the heater and switch it on again. If it cuts o again, leave all maintenance work to
qualied personnel.
Cleaning
Your heater should be cleaned regularly to prevent dirt and dust from building up which will
aect its performance. Ensure the air inlet and the air outlet are not blocked. This can be done
with a vacuum cleaner, using the brush attachment.
• Ensure you unplug your heater from the mains socket and wait for the heater to
cool down completely before cleaning.
• Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the
heater.

Heating Function
Position the heater upright on the oor away from curtains, furniture or wall coverings before
plugging your heater into the mains socket.
• Connect the heater to the mains socket. Be sure the mains plug ts tightly in the mains
socket. A loose t will cause overheating and damage the mains plug.
• Switch the heater on by turning the Thermostat Dial clockwise. Turn the Power dial to
switch the unit between:
I: Low heating power
II: High heating power
: Fan mode
: Low heaing power with oscillation
: High heating power with oscillation
: Fan mode with oscillation
• Adjust the Thermostat Dial to the desired position. It is recommended to select the “Max”
position to get the heater to heat up. When the heater temperature is higher than the room
temperature, the heater will continue working, but when the room temperature is higher
than the heater temperature, the heater will turn o automatically.
• To switch the heater o, turn the Power Dial to “OFF” position. Remove the mains plug from
the mains socket.
• It is normal for the heater to emit some smell and fumes when it is turned on for
the rst time or when turned on after not being used for a long period of time. This
smell will disappear when the heater has been turned on for a short while.
• This unit will not operate if not positioned on a at stable surface or if the
thermostat setting is too low.
Safety Protective Devices
Overheat Protection System
The power to the heater will automatically cut o if the temperature of the heater exceeds a
certain limit. In the event of overheating, the heater will stop operating. Switch the heater o
and allow it to completely cool for at least 30 minutes. The heater will then resume operating as
normal.
The heater cannot be switched on when it is overheating. Allow it to cool down for at
least 30 minutes and then switch it on again.
Tip-over Protective Switch
When you use the heater in an upright position on a at and stable surface, the tip-over
protective switch will be on. In the event the heater is knocked over, the heater will stop
functioning automatically.
• Do not override the tip-over protective switch as this may cause a hazard.
• Using the unit on a deep pile carpet may activate the tip-over protective switch.
