HEATER FEATURES

HEATER OPERATIONS

This heater is build-in with safety protective device:

1) Overheat protection system and;

In the event of Abnormal overheating, the heater will cut out automatically.

See Troubleshooting for details.

CAUTION:

– Do not cover the heater.

– Do not block the ‘air inlet opening’ or ‘air outlet grille’.

1. Choose a suitable location for the heater, and take into safety instruction account.

2. Insert the power adapter of the heater into a suitable power socket.

3. Press “I” of your preferred Heater Power On/O Switch to turn on the heater. Press “O”

to turn o the heater. (Refer to Heater Controls section for details power output for each.)

4. Press “I” of the Fan Switch to turn on the fan for the side vent, which allows the heater

air to ow out from there as well. Press “O” to turn o the fan.

Control the temperature

1. Turn the Temperature Control knob.

2. Switch on the Heat Switches to select the required heating power. (Refer tp Heater

Controls section for details)

3. When the desired room temperature has been reached, the Temperature Control knob

should be turned slowly anti-clockwise until the thermpstat is heard to click o and the

lights on the element switches go o.

4. The heater will keep the air temperature in the room at the set temperature by switching

on and o automatically.

Fan Operation

1. Fan can be switched on independently of the heating elements.

2. The fan will only operate when the Temperature Control knob is at the “I” position, and

can be used when the heating elements are ON to blow warm air into the room.

3. In warm conditions, the fan can be used with the heating elements are OFF, and it will

blow cool air out from the vent.

NOTE: Heat whiches and Fan Switch will not operate if the Temperature Control setting

is too low.

Timer Operation

This unit tted with a 24-hr timer, which

has 96 segments around its

circumference. Each segment is

equivalent to 15 minutes of time.

You may preset the time and duration of

the period(s) as per your preference in any

24-hr period.

1. Select your preferred segments, and pull

them outward as per Figure A.

2. Push the Red Colour Slide Switch from “I”

position to “ ”, and the timer pointer will

turn. See Figure B for reference.

Once the pointer reaches the ON time

of the selected segments, it will switch

the heater on. The unit will turn o at the

end of the selected segments.

O = Timer ON; no power is fed to the unit

= Timer ON; the heater will be ON and

OFF at specific time set

I = Timer OFF; the heater will be ON

continuously.

Note: The heater must always be plugged into a power socket, and the element switches

must be in the ON position and the Temperature Control knob must be in ON position.

When using the timer mode, the heater will operate automatically - even unattended.

done with a vacuum cleaner, using the brush attachment.

WARNING: Ensure you unplug your convention heater from the mains and wait for the

heater to cool down completely before cleaning.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

My heater cuts out

Important: Your heater has a safety cut out designed when the working temperature is

detected over 70ºC by the sensor, and the heater would not operate.

Your heater will turn on again when it reaches a safety operating temperature.

Step 1: Unplug your heater and allow it to cool down.

Step 2: Inspect your heater. Clean the air inlet opening and air outlet grille with a vacuum

cleaner if necessary. If there is any sign of physical damage (e/g/ melting, or burning of

the case) do not attempt to use your heater. In this case, contact your authorized service

agent.

Step 3: Plug-in the heater and switch on the heater again. If it cuts out again, trying

moving the heater to a better ventilatory position.

My heater does not work when I turn it on

1. Check that your heater is plugged in and the power is turned on at the socket.

2. Set temperature to the highest setting.

3. Try replacing the fuse in the plug.

4. Check the wiring in the plug.

5. If the heater still doesn’t work, please contact your authorized service agent.

Assembly of the Heater

Before using the heater, the feet must be fitted to the unit.

1. Slide in the feet as per Figure 1 and 2 for both end of the unit.

2. Slide the feet until you hear the “Click” sound.

3. Once the feet are locked, it will appears like Figure 3.

– The heater must be placed on a at surface, and should not placed under a

main socket outlet.

Note: It is normal when the heater to emit some

smell and fumes when it is rutned on for the first

time or when they are turned on after not being

used for a long period of time. This will disappear

when the heater has been on for a short while.
