This warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in materials or workmanship, and DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear
or cosmetic damage. The warranty ALSO DOES NOT COVER damages which occurred in shipment, or failures which are caused
by products not supplied by Panasonic Canada Inc., or failures which result from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling,
misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, set-up adjustments, misadjustment of consumer controls, improper maintenance,
power line surge, lightning damage, modification, introduction of sand, humidity or liquids, commercial use such as hotel, office,
restaurant, or other business or rental use of the product, or service by anyone other than an Authorized Servicer, or damage that

Dry cell batteries are also excluded from coverage under this warranty.

The enclosed Canadian French label sheet corresponds to
the English display on the front and rear of the main unit.
Do not use AC power supply cord with other equipment.
Product numbers provided in these operating instructions are

Battery

Control reference guide
1 Standby/on switch [Í/I], [Í]
Press to switch the unit from on to standby mode or vice versa. In
standby mode, the unit is still consuming a small amount of power.

To save power, the unit cannot be turned on from the remote
control when using batteries as the power source.
2 Power indicator
The indicator lights up when this unit is turned on. (It will go off
when the unit is turned off.)
3 Display
4 Remote control signal sensor
Point the remote control at the remote control sensor, away
from obstacles and within the operation range.
Distance: Within approx. 7 m (23 ft) directly in front
Angle: Approx. 30o left and right
5 Set sound booster effect
Press and hold to enter demo play mode.
During unit on, press and hold for at least 2 seconds. The
demonstration music will be played for approximately 1 minute.
6 Select the audio source
(“BLUETOOTH”, “CD”, “FM”, “USB”)
Press and hold [ sPAIRING] on this unit (until “PAIRING”
appears) to enter pairing mode or disconnect a Bluetooth
®
device.

These speakers do not have magnetic shielding. Do not place
them near a TV, personal computer or other magnetic devices.

Power sources
Connect the AC power supply cord firmly to the unit and
the household AC outlet.
Do not use any other AC power supply cord except the supplied
one.
Use alkaline or manganese batteries.
Install the batteries so that the poles (r and s) align with
those in the unit.
When using batteries as the power source:
the volume is comparatively lower.
this unit cannot be turned on from the remote control.
Battery indicator
When the batteries are weak, “ ” light up on the
display.
When ” flashes, replace all the batteries with new ones.
While the unit is on, do not switch the power source from AC to
battery power, or vice versa. Press [Í/I] to switch the unit to
standby mode before switching power sources.
Battery removal
Do not pull the battery out from the end placed against the
spring. Remove the battery by lifting its positive end (r).
Preparing the remote control
Insert the battery so the terminals (i and j) match those
in the remote control.

Press [O, N SELECT] repeatedly to select “CD”.

Press [ ] to select “BLUETOOTH”.
2 Press [1/;] to start playback.
Listening to FM radio
Preparation
Press [O, N SELECT] repeatedly to select “FM”.
1 Press [PLAY MENU] repeatedly to select “TUNE
MODE”.
2 Press [3, 4] to select “MANUAL” and then press
[OK].
3 Press [:/6] or [5/9] to tune in to the
station.
To tune automatically, press and hold the button until
the frequency starts changing quickly.
To change the FM frequency step:
1 Press [O, N SELECT] repeatedly to select “FM”.
(Alternatively, press [FM] on the unit.)
2 Press and hold [FM] on the unit.
After a few seconds the display changes to show the
current lowest frequency. Continue to hold the button
down. The lowest frequency changes and the step is
changed.

Before requesting service, refer to troubleshooting in
“Owner’s Manual (PDF format)”. If the problem remains
unresolved, consult your dealer for instructions.
