4 CHARGING THE HELICOPTER
Please note: The battery must be allowed to cool down for 10 to 15 minutes after
each flight before being charged. Failure to do so may result in the battery becom-
ing damaged. The charging process is electronically monitored, but do not leave it
unsupervised.
• Switch off the helicopter and the remote control.
• Lift out the charger plug and carefully insert it into the helicopter's charging socket
(4A). The plug must be gently inserted into the charging socket – DO NOT USE FORCE.
If the plug is not correctly inserted into the charging socket, the helicopter may
become damaged and, under certain circumstances, become an injury risk.
• Switch on the remote control, the power LED now blinks red and the charging status
LED blinks green (4B).
• When the green charging status LED switches off, it signifies that the charging
process has been completed.
• Once the charging process has been completed, set the ON/OFF switch to "OFF" and
disconnect the charger plug from the helicopter.
A charge time of approx. 35 minutes using the USB charger cable will allow
the helicopter to fly for approx. 5-7 minutes.
You can also charge your helicopter with the accompanying USB cable:
• Switch off the helicopter.
• Carefully insert the charger cable into the helicopter's charging socket
• The plug must be gently inserted into the charging socket – DO NOT USE FORCE.
If the plug is not correctly inserted into the charging socket, the helicopter may
become damaged and, under certain circumstances, become an injury risk.
• Insert the USB plug into an open USB port. The USB plug lights up.
• The charging process has been completed when the light on the USB plug switches off.
• After the charging process has been completed, disconnect the USB plug from the
USB port and from the helicopter.
5 PREPARING FOR TAKE-OFF
The thrust controller (the left controller on the remote control) must point down before
being switched on( 5A). Then set the remote control's control switch to "ON".
The Power LED begins blinking red (5B). Select channel A, B or C using the channel
selector. Now set the ON/OFF switch on the right side of the helicopter to the "ON"
position . Place the helicopter on the ground so that its tail points toward you (5D).
Now move the thrust controller fully forward and then back to its starting position. The
power LED is now continuously lit. The helicopter is now ready for take-off.
Up to two pilots can fly their helicopters simultaneously! To do so, proceed as follows:
• Pilot 1 switches his/her remote control on and selects channel A.
• Pilot 1 switches on his/her helicopter. Now move the thrust controller fully forward
and then back to its starting position. The power LED is now continuously lit and the
helicopter is set to channel A.
• Pilot 1 sets his/her remote control aside without switching it or the helicopter off. >>

6 STEERING TRIM ADJUSTMENT
The correct trimming is a basic requirement for achieving fault-free flying from the
helicopter. Its adjustment is simple, but it requires some patience and a feel for it.
Please carefully observe the following instructions: Carefully move the thrust controller
upward to increase the helicopter's altitude to approximately 0.5 to 1 metres.
6A
If the helicopter begins to quickly or
slowly rotate clockwise by itself, turn
the left/right trim wheel down until the
helicopter no longer rotates by itself.
If the helicopter automatically
rotates clockwise…
If the helicopter begins to quickly or
slowly rotate anticlockwise by itself,
turn the left/right trim wheel up until
the helicopter no longer rotates by
itself.
If the helicopter automatically
rotates anti-clockwise …

7 FLIGHT CONTROL
7BLand or fly lower by moving the
thrust controller backward. Only mini-
mal corrections to the controller are
necessary to ensure smoothing flying
of the helicopter!
7A Take off or increase altitude by
carefully moving the thrust controller
forward.
7D Fly backward by carefully moving
the controller backward.
Fly forward by carefully moving the
directional controller forward.
7F To fly along a right-handed curve,
carefully move the directional controller
to the right, as long as the helicopter
tail is facing toward the pilot.
To fly along a left-handed curve,
carefully move the directional control-
ler to the left, as long as the helicop-
ter tail is facing toward the pilot.
