COOKING PROGRAMS

Japanese Rice, Glutinous Rice, Clay Pot, Congee, Quick Rice

– Programs on the left of the control panel are related to tasty white rice

options.

– Press “Tasty Rice” button to choose the program. When the program is

chosen the light of the program lights up.

– Then press “Start” button to start the cooking program.

– At the end of cooking, the buzzer will ring “bip”, the rice cooker will enter into

the keep warm status with the “Warm / Cancel” indicator turning on and

the screen will start to count the duration time of the keeping warm mode.

Jasmine Rice

Press “Jasmine Rice” button directly, and then press start button to start cooking.

It will enter keep warm automatically after cooking.

Healthy Rice

– Fill the inner pot with water to the corresponding water level mark. –

Fig 6.

– Place the rice in the healthy rice steam basket and put into the inner

pot. – Fig.7

– Press “ Healthy Rice “ button

– Press “ Start” button to start cooking.

– At the end of cooking, the appliance will beep, the rice cooker will enter

keep warm status automatically.

• Note: The maximum quantity for healthy rice is 3 cups. Stir and

loose rice before cooking to make it easier for water to rise and

rinse rice. Clean the healthy steam basket thoroughly after each

use to make sure the steam holes are not blocked.

Note: Add water following up the water level mark. Always add the rice

ﬁrst otherwise you will have too much water.

When cooking gaba rice, you may follow the water level mark of Jasmine

Rice.

BEFORE FIRST USE

• Open the lid by pressing the opening button on the housing –Fig.1.

• Remove the pot –Fig.2 the inner lid –Fig.3a-3b and the valve - Fig. 4.

• Clean the pot inner lid and valve with a sponge and washing up liquid.

• Wipe the outside of the appliance and the lid with a damp cloth.

• Dry o carefully.

• Put all the parts back in their original position. Install the detachable cord

into the socket on the cooker base.

USING YOUR RICE COOKER

Measuring the ingredients - Max capacity of the bowl

• The graduated markings on the inside of the bowl are given in cups,

these are used for measuring the amount of water when cooking rice

and other cereals.

• The maximum quantity of water + rice should not exceed the 8 cups mark

inside the bowl –Fig.5.

• The plastic cup provided with your appliance is for measuring rice and

other cereals.

When cooking healthy rice with jasmine rice, please refer to the water

level mark on the pot.

When cooking healthy rice with short grain white rice (e.g. Japanese rice),

the following rice-water ratio is recommended:
