Apparaten kunnen worden gebruikt door

instructies hebben gekregen over het veilige
gebruik van het apparaat en de gevaren
begrijpen.
• Breng nooit aanpassingen aan het apparaat
aan. Afstellingen kunnen de veiligheid, garantie
en goede werking beïnvloeden.
Gevaar voor elektrische schokken door
kortsluiting:
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit als er zichtbare
tekenen van schade of gebreken zijn aan het
apparaat of de netsnoer. Vervang een
beschadigd of defect apparaat of netsnoer altijd
onmiddellijk of neem contact op met de
klantenservice.
• Zorg er altijd voor dat er niet op de stroomkabel

Brandgevaar door oververhitting:
• Zet het apparaat altijd op een stabiele, vlakke,
hitte- en vochtbestendige ondergrond. Laat het
apparaat nooit onbeheerd achter als het in
gebruik is. Gebruik het apparaat alleen onder
toezicht. Zet het apparaat uit en haal de
voedingskabel uit het stopcontact als je de
kamer verlaat.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit met een
programmeerapparaat, timer, aparte
afstandsbediening of een ander toestel dat het
apparaat automatisch inschakelt.
• Plaats het apparaat nooit direct onder een
stopcontact. Het apparaat kan tijdens het
gebruik heet worden. Houd de achterkant van
het apparaat altijd vrij van voorwerpen.
• Zet het apparaat nooit in de buurt van een
warmtebron neer.
Gevaar voor elektrische schokken door
kortsluiting:
• Laat het apparaat nooit vallen en vermijd stoten.
Overmatige trillingen kunnen leiden tot
losgeraakte verbindingen en kunnen de goede
werking van het apparaat beïnvloeden. Gebruik
het apparaat niet meer als het gevallen is.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit met een
verlengsnoer.
• Sluit nooit een ander apparaat met hoog
stroomverbruik op dezelfde groep aan.
Verstikkingsgevaar door de plastic verpakking:
• Laat kinderen nooit met het
verpakkingsmateriaal spelen. Houd het
verpakkingsmateriaal altijd buiten het bereik van
kinderen.

VOORZICHTIG
Verbrandingsgevaar door hitte:
• Kinderen moeten onder toezicht staan om
ervoor te zorgen dat ze niet met het apparaat
spelen.
• Raak de hete oppervlakken nooit aan tijdens of
kort na gebruik. De hete oppervlakken kunnen
nog restwarmte hebben. Laat het apparaat na
gebruik altijd volledig afkoelen voordat je het
hanteert.
• Vul geen melk boven de bovengrens. Er kan dan
hete melk uit spatten.
• Open nooit het deksel terwijl de melk kookt
Struikelgevaar door losse kabels:
• Laat het netsnoer nooit zo hangen dat iemand
erover kan struikelen of er per ongeluk aan kan
trekken.
• Om brand, elektrische schokken en persoonlijk
letsel te voorkomen, mogen snoer, stekkers of
andere elektrische onderdelen niet in water of
andere vloeistoffen worden ondergedompeld.
• Om het risico te beperken dat u in een langer
snoer verstrikt raakt of erover struikelt, wordt
een kort netsnoer meegeleverd.
OPMERKING
Gevaar voor beschadiging van het apparaat:
• Het apparaat moet op een stabiele, vlakke
ondergrond worden geplaatst.
• Gebruik bij het schoonmaken van het apparaat
nooit agressieve chemische
schoonmaakmiddelen die het apparaat kunnen
beschadigen.
• Gebruik het apparaat alleen met de bijgeleverde
accessoires of de door Tristar aanbevolen
accessoires.
• Plaats het apparaat nooit in een afwasmachine.
• Zet het apparaat tijdens gebruik nooit bij de rand
van een aanrecht. Tijdens het gebruik kunnen
trillingen optreden, waardoor het apparaat kan
verschuiven. Zet het apparaat altijd op een
stabiele, vlakke, hitte- en vochtbestendige
ondergrond.
VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
1. Haal het apparaat en de accessoires uit de doos. Verwijder de stickers,
beschermende folie of plastic van het apparaat.
2. Maak het apparaat schoon met een vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve
en schurende reinigingsmiddelen, schuurspons of staalwol, die het apparaat
beschadigen.
3. Plaats het basisstation op een droge, vlakke en stabiele ondergrond.

de kabel in de daarvoor bestemde sleuf op het basisstation.
5. Doe het netsnoer in een stopcontact.

WAARSCHUWING
Dompel het snoer, de stekker of het apparaat niet onder in water of andere vloeistoffen
om elektrische schokken te voorkomen.
Zorg ervoor dat de aansluiting aan de onderkant van de melkopschuimer droog blijft.
6. Vul de melkopschuimer met koud water tot aan de markering MAX A
3
en laat het
apparaat opwarmen tot het gereed is.
7. Laat het apparaat afkoelen.
8. Herhaal de vorige stappen om er zeker van te zijn dat het apparaat goed
gedesinfecteerd is.
9. Het apparaat is klaar voor gebruik.
GEBRUIK
Gebruik van het apparaat
• De maximale capaciteit voor het opschuimen van melk is 150ml. De maximale
capaciteit voor het verwarmen van melk is 300ml.
• Selecteer het gewenste programma en ga opkloppen.
• Het proces is op elk moment te stoppen door nogmaals op de programmaknop van
de melkopschuimer te drukken.
• Zorg dat de kan altijd gevuld is tussen de MIN en MAX capaciteitsmarkeringen.
• Opmerking: Als u meer warm melkschuim of meer warme melk maakt, moet de
melkopschuimer een paar minuten afkoelen voordat u het weer kunt gebruiken.

Operation
• The frother will stop automatically as soon as the milk is ready.
• You can stop the frothing process at any time by pressing the milk frother button
again.
• Wait 30 seconds before removing the milk frother A

to allow milk to settle.
• Note: If you make more hot milk froth or more hot milk, the milk frother must cool
for a few minutes before you can use it again. As long as the milk frother is hot, the
built-in thermostat will prevent the appliance from operating. You can rinse the
inside of the jug with cold water so that it cools down faster.
• Always make sure that there is enough milk in the milk frother A
2
. Otherwise the
appliance will shut off automatically.This can result in a shorter lifetime of the
product.
• Allow the product to cool down before refilling with milk.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance after each use.
1. Unplug the power cable from the power outlet.
2. Allow the appliance to cool down after use.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids or place it in a dishwasher.
- Never use aggressive chemical cleaning agents that can damage the appliance
when cleaning the appliance.
- Never use any sharp or metal objects when cleaning the appliance. Sharp or metal
objects can damage the non-stick coating of the appliance.
3. Hand wash parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
4. Clean exterior of the appliance with a damp, soft cloth and wipe dry. Never immerse
the motor unit in water.
STORAGE
Store the appliance in a dry and enclosed space.
DISPOSAL

BESCHRIJVING APPARAAT
Over dit apparaat
De Tristar MK-2277 is een melkopschuimer voor het maken van warm of koud
melkschuim, het verwarmen van melk of het mengen van warme chocolademelk. Het
apparaat wordt geleverd met een opschuim- en roerhulpstuk.
Beoogd gebruik
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor gebruik binnenshuis.
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor huishoudelijk, niet-commercieel gebruik.
Dit apparaat is bedoeld om gebruikt te worden in huishoudelijke en soortgelijke
toepassingen zoals:
- personeelskeukenbereiken in winkels, kantoren en andere werkomgevingen;
- boerderijen;
- door klanten in hotels, motels en andere types residentiële omgevingen;
- omgevingen van het type bed and breakfast
Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen ( waaronder kinderen) met
verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens, of gebrek aan ervaring

NOTICE

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective
foil or plastic from the device.
2. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners,
scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the appliance.
3. Place the base on a dry, level and stable base.

cable into the intended slot at the base.

To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or
appliance in the water or any other liquid.
Make sure that the connection at the bottom of the milk frother stays dry.
6. Fill the milk frother with cold water up to the MAX mark A

and let the device heat
up until ready.
7. Let the appliance cool down.
8. Repeat the previous steps to ensure the appliance is disinfected properly.
9. The appliance is ready for use.
USE
Using the appliance

The Tristar MK-2277 is a milk frother for making warm or cold milk foam, heating milk
or mixing hot chocolate. The appliance comes with a frothing and stirring attachment.

This appliance is intended for indoor use only.
