Handleiding

PROGRAMMES

Follow the label instructions to choose the most suitable

programme. The value shown in the basin symbol is the

maximum temperature that can be used to wash the garment.

Cotton

For washing moderately to very soiled resistant cotton or linen towels,

underwear, tablecloths, sheets, etc. The cycle only includes a pre-wash

before the main wash if the wash temperature is set to 95°C. In this case,

detergent should be placed in both the pre-wash and the main wash

compartments.

Rapid 30’

Cotton, polyamide and cotton mix garments only worn for a short time. A

short programme to refresh your laundry.

Magic

For washing slightly to moderately soiled resistant cotton, linen, synthetic

and mixed fabric garments.

Anti Stain

This programme guarantees maximum stain-removing power without

requiring low-temperature pre-treatment, helping to protect fabrics and

colours.

Synthetics

For washing soiled synthetic garments (such as polyester, polyacrylic,

viscose, etc.) or cotton-synthetic mix fabrics.

Rinse & spin

Separate intensive rinse and spin programmes. For resistant fabrics.

Spin

Spins the load and drains the water. For resistant fabrics.

Wool

All wool garments can be washed using the “Wool” programme, even those

with a “Hand wash only” label. For best results, use specific detergents and

do not exceed the maximum load.

Delicate

For washing particularly delicate garments. For best results, turn garments

inside out before washing.

Colours

White and light-coloured garments in delicate fabrics. Delicate wash

programme that prevents greying and yellowing. Use a strong detergent,

adding a stain remover or oxygen-based whitening solution if necessary. Do

not use liquid detergent.

20 °C

Ideal for washing slightly soiled cotton garments at a temperature of 20°C.

Eco 40-60

Ideal for washing moderately soiled cotton garments indicated as suitable

for 40°C or 60°C washes, even in the same cycle. This is both the standard

cycle for washing cotton garments and the most efficient cycle in terms of

water and power consumption.

Eco cotton

Ideal for washing moderately soiled cotton garments. At 40°C and 60°C.

FIRST USE

To remove any manufacturing debris, select the “Cotton” programme and

set the temperature to 95°C. Pour a small amount of powder detergent in

the main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser (no more than

1/3 of the amount of detergent recommended by the manufacturer for

slightly soiled laundry). Start the programme without adding laundry.

EVERYDAY USE

Prepare your laundry as recommended in the “TIPS AND TRICKS” section.

Load the laundry, close the drum door and make sure it is closed properly.

Pour in the detergent and any additives. Use the doses recommended on

the detergent pack. Close the lid. Turn the programme knob to the required

programme and select any other option required. The display will show the

duration of the selected programme (in hours and minutes) and the “Start/

Pause” button will flash. The indicator light for the preset spin speed will

come on. Press the “Spin” button to change the spin speed. Turn on the tap

and press the “Start/Pause” button to start the wash cycle. The “Start/Pause”

indicator light will come on and the door will be blocked. The remaining

time will be recalculated during certain programme phases in accordance

with variations in the load and the temperature of the incoming water. In

this case, an animated icon will appear on the display.

INTERRUPTING OR MODIFYING A PROGRAMME

IN PROGRESS

To interrupt a wash cycle, press the “Start/Pause” button; the indicator light

will start to flash. Select the new programme, the options or the spin speed

if you wish to change these settings. Press the “Start/Pause” button again

to start the wash cycle from the point at which it was paused. Do not add

detergent for this programme.

OPENING THE DOOR

Once the programme has started, the indicator light will flash, indicating

that it is not possible to open the cover. Whilst a wash programme is

running, the lid will remain locked and it must not be forced under any

circumstances. If you urgently need to open it when a programme is in

progress, for example to add more laundry or to remove laundry that was

loaded by mistake, press the “Start/Pause” button. Provided the temperature

is not too high, the “Door opening” indicator light will come on. You will

have to wait a while before being able to open the lid. Press the “Start/

Pause” key to continue the programme.

END OF THE PROGRAMME

The “Open door” indicator light will go off and will appear on the

display.

Turn the programme knob to the “OFF” position and close the water tap.

Open the lid and drum and unload the machine. Leave the lid open for a

while to allow the inside of the machine to dry. After about a quarter of an

hour, the washing machine will switch off completely to save energy.

To cancel a programme in progress before the end of the cycle, hold the

“Cancel/Drain” button down for at least 3 seconds. The water will be

drained. You will have to wait a while before being able to open the lid.

OPTIONS

! When the programme + additional option combination cannot be

selected, the indicator lights will go o automatically.

! Unusual option combinations are automatically deselected.

Rapid

Allows faster drying, and therefore shortens the programme time.

Recommended for small loads or slightly soiled laundry only.

Fresh Care

Use this option if you are unable to unload your laundry immediately after

the end of the programme or if you tend to forget laundry in your washing

machine. It will help keep your laundry fresh. The washing machine will

rotate the laundry at regular intervals after the end of the programme. The

“Fresh Care” button indicator light will flash while this function is active

and an animated icon will appear on the display. The drum will rotate

periodically for about 6 hours after the end of the wash programme and you

may stop it at any time by pressing the “Fresh Care” button. You will have

to wait a while before being able to open the lid. Once the “Fresh Care” time

has expired, will appear on the display.

Delayed start

To set the selected programme so that it starts at a later time, press the

“Delayed Start” button to set the desired delay time. The “Delayed start”

button indicator light will come on and will switch off when the programme

starts. Press the “Start/Pause” button to start the countdown. The pre-set

time can be reduced by pressing the “Delayed start” button again. Do not

use liquid detergent when using this option. To cancel the “Delayed

start”, turn to programme knob to another position.

Energy saver

Allows faster drying, and therefore shortens the programme time.

Recommended for small loads or slightly soiled laundry only.

Rinse plus

Helps to remove all detergent residues from the laundry by prolonging the

rinse phase. It is ideal for washing baby clothes, for people with allergies

and for hard water areas.

Spin

Each programme has a pre-set spin speed. Press the button to set a different

spin speed. The indicator light of the pre-set spin speed will come on. If

you select the “0” spin speed,, the final spin will be cancelled and the water

will simply be drained. The intermediate spin phases during the rinse will

nevertheless be carried out.
