5. If the display does not turn on, the battery may be low. (Please follow the

‘Battery Replacement’ instructions on how to change your battery).

6. Wait for 1 minute and for the temperature displayed to be stable between

the safe range (see p1 for more details).

7. The thermometer will automatically turn itself off and enter power-saving

mode if it is not used for 1 hour and the LCD screen will be blank.

When using the thermometer in a bath:

• Place the thermometer in the bath as soon as you begin to ﬁll it.

• Always begin with cold water before adding warm water increasing the

temperature slowly to the safe range (see p1 for more details).

• Always stir the water during ﬁlling to ensure even heat distribution.

• If the temperature is too cold the display shows ‘COLD’ above the

number.

• If the temperature is too hot it will display ‘HOT’ in large letters and the

red LED warning light will ﬂash.

• Adjust the water temperature if it is not between the safe range.

Note: The ‘Hot / Cold’ display is based on the safe temperature for your babies

bath. When used in a room the ‘Cold’ will display at all times as it is

< 36’c.

Battery Replacement:

To replace the battery open the cover located on the bottom of your product.

• Use a coin and twist the cover in the direction indicated by the ‘OPEN’

word. If the cover is tight you can use a suitable thin tool to gently prise it

free.

• Take care not to drop or lose the transparent waterproof sealing ‘ring’

which is attached to the cover. Loss of this will cause the product not to

remain waterproof and may cause it to stop working permanently.

• Remove the battery and replace with a new one of the correct type.

• Ensure the waterproof ring is still in place.

• Put on the battery cover and use a coin to twist in the direction indicated

by the ‘CLOSE’ word.

• Do not disassemble this product other than to change the battery.
