using the sewing machine, carefully read these descriptions to learn the names of the machine parts.

a Top cover

Open the top cover to thread the machine and wind the

bobbin.

b Pre-tension disk

Pass the thread around the pre-tension disk when winding the

bobbin thread. (page B-36)

c Thread guide for bobbin winding

Pass the thread through this thread guide when winding the

bobbin thread. (page B-36)

d Spool pin

Place a spool of thread on the spool pin. (page B-44)

e Spool cap

Use the spool cap to hold the spool of thread in place.

f Supplemental spool pin

Use this spool pin to wind the bobbin thread, or to sew with the

k Handwheel

Rotate the handwheel toward you (counterclockwise) to raise

and lower the needle. The wheel should be turned toward the

front of the machine.

Ik heb alles gecontroleerd, maar mijn naaimachinedraad breekt steeds, wat kan ik doen? Geverifieerd

Als de bovendraad van de machine blijft breken waar de naald in de stof komt, kan het zijn dat de naaldplaat of het spoelhuis kleine beschadigingen heeft in de vorm van krassen en / of scherpe randen. Deze kleine beschadigingen kunnen ervoor zorgen dat de draad na een paar steken breekt.

Dit kan verschillen per fabrikant, maar over het algemeen gaat een naald ongeveer 8 uur mee. Het kan langer duren voordat de naald breekt, maar daarvoor is deze al bot geworden en kan de stof beschadigen.
