TROUBLE SHOOTING

REMEMBER that rate of flow is dependant upon the head - i.e. the greater the head

the lower the flow. Check the specifications for your pump on pages 9 to 11.

The pump does not run 1. No mains supply 1. Check fuse - replace if

necessary (13 Amp).

2. Impeller seized / blocked 2. Disconnect pump from mains,

disassemble, and clear

Thermal overload has 1. Incorrect mains voltage 1. Check and rectify.

Low or no Flow 1. Blocked inlet pipe 1. Investigate and rectify.

2. Blocked impeller 2. Disassemble pump and clear

blockage.

3. Head too high 3. Check that head is within spec.

PUMPS WITH HYDROTRONIC UNIT

Pump runs non-stop 1. Leaks on output side 1. Ensure connections are water

or cuts in and out tight. Check to ensure no taps
