Game concept: High-Speed Roller Race

Let’s get started on the Great Roller Race! Which roller travels furthest from

the ramp?

Game preparation:

Help the children to prop the cardboard ramp on the rim of the contents box

and get the rollers ready.

How to play:

This game can be played solo or by going around the table in a clockwise direc-

tion. If there are two or more players, each selects a roller in his or her favorite

color. The race always begins with two rollers being released from the top of the

ramp. When all the rollers have been sent on their way, the players see which

one has gone furthest.

End of game:

The winner is the player whose roller traveled furthest.

Game concept: Domino Skittles

Let’s play Domino Skittles! Whose roller will knock over the most dominoes?

Game preparation:

The skittles variant follows a similar principle to the roller race. The added

factor this time is the colorful dominoes which are placed vertically in any

arrangement at the bottom of the ramp.

How to play:

Players take turns in releasing their rollers from the top of the ramp, attempting

to knock over as many dominoes as possible. Variant for small skittles experts:

the further the dominoes are placed from the ramp, the more difﬁcult it be-

comes.

End of game:

The player who knocks over the most dominoes with his or her roller wins.

Game concept: Alternate Roller-Domino Stacking

Let’s play roller stacking! Who can pile the most rollers (and dominoes) with-

out the tower collapsing?
