Handleiding

This compact ashlight produces an ultra bright light beam by using

an LED powered by (2) two AA batteries. The 2310 ashlight is

designed for easy use with one hand operation and has a dual-

switch mode for constant-on and momentary-on. The 2310 ashlight

body is made of a high impact polymer alloy for the most durable

construction. The 2310 ashlight is water resistant.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE OPERATING, REMOVE THE MYLAR INSULATOR BY

UNSCREWING THE TAIL CAP.

Battery Installation / Replacement

1. Remove the tail cap by turning counter-clockwise until it comes off

the rear of the 2310 ashlight.

2. Remove the (2) two used batteries from the 2310 ashlight.

3. Insert (2) two new AA batteries in the direction indicated (any

Alkaline and Pelican P-nimh-AA).

4. Replace the tail cap by turning clockwise until sealed.

General Operation

» Momentary - partially depress the tail button for momentary

operation.

» Constant On – fully depress the tail button and release.

» Off – from the on position, fully depress the tail button and release.

General Care and Maintenance

» Clean o-rings with a soft clean cloth to insure that sealing area is

free of dirt that could destroy the o-ring seal.

» Apply a light coat of clear silicone grease on the o-rings

occasionally if turning action becomes too difcult.

» Remove the tail cap and wipe the rear threads of the 2310

ashlight body and inside of the tail cap with a soft clean cloth

occasionally to avoid intermittent ashlight operation.

O-Ring Maintenance

Check closely for cuts, scratches, or otherwise damaged o-ring

or mating lens lip surface. Remove any dirt or foreign matter from

o-ring sealing surfaces. Keep threads, o-ring groove and inside lip

of lens lubricated with silicone grease. See Warranty information for

replacement of o-ring.

CAUTION: TO PREVENT THE 2310 FLASHLIGHT FROM

COMING ON ACCIDENTALLY WHEN STORED, REMOVE THE

BATTERIES. IF THE 2310 FLASHLIGHT IS TURNED ON WHILE

IT IS IN A CONTAINER, THE FLASHLIGHT CAN OVERHEAT

AND DAMAGE THE FLASHLIGHT OR THE MATERIAL OF THE

SURROUNDING AREA.

Most battery issues arise from improper handling of batteries, and

particularly from the use of damaged or counterfeit batteries. Please

Alkaline Batteries

» For those lights with hazardous location safety approvals for

explosive environments, please be advised that the safety

approval is only valid for the specied battery type manufacturers

and, where applicable, brand names that are displayed on the

ashlight and/or instructions sheets that are supplied with the

ashlight. The use of other battery technologies may reduce

the performance of the ashlight, expose the user or others to

serious injury and will invalidate the safety approval.

» Always read the battery manufacturer’s recommendations for

the appropriate use of the battery technology/brand prior to

using the ashlight.

» DO NOT mix old and new batteries

» DO NOT mix battery brands / types.

» When replacing the batteries, replace all the batteries at

the same time.

» DO NOT open batteries.

» DO NOT dispose of in re.

» DO NOT heat above 75°C.

» DO NOT expose batteries to water.

» DO NOT recharge.

» Insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -)

marked on the battery and equipment.

» DO NOT change batteries in a hazardous location.

» DO NOT use batteries beyond their expiration date.

» Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for

an extended period of time.

Battery Recycling

ALWAYS dispose of batteries properly at an approved battery

recycling center. Failure to do so can be a crime and can lead to the

release of harmful toxic materials. Pelican has partnered with Call 2

Recycle in the US and Canada to dispose of recyclable batteries. Call

Esta linterna compacta emite un haz de luz ultrabrillante mediante

el uso de un LED alimentado por (2) dos pilas AA. La linterna 2310

está diseñada para proporcionar un uso sencillo con una sola mano y

encendido momentáneo. El cuerpo de la linterna 2310 está fabricado

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO

ANTES DE USAR EL DISPOSITIVO, RETIRA EL AISLANTE

MYLAR DESENROSCANDO LA TAPA TRASERA.

Colocación/Sustitución De Las Pilas

1. Quitar la tapa trasera girándola hacia la izquierda hasta separar

la parte trasera de la linterna 2310.

2. Retirar las (2) dos pilas usadas de la linterna 2310.

3. Colocar (2) dos pilas AA nuevas en la dirección indicada

(cualquier pila alcalina o las pilas Pelican P-NiMH-AA).

4. Volver a colocar la tapa trasera girándola hacia la derecha hasta

que quede perfectamente apretada.

Funcionamiento General

» Encendido Momentáneo: pulsar ligeramente el botón trasero

para utilizar la linterna puntualmente.

» Encendido Continuo: pulsar hasta el fondo el botón trasero

y soltarlo.

» Apagado: desde la posición de encendido, pulsar hasta el

fondo el botón trasero y soltarlo.

Niveles De Intensidad De La Luz

Intensidad alta - Intensidad baja

Cuidados Generales Y Mantenimiento

» Limpiar los anillos de sellado de neopreno con un paño limpio y

suave para asegurarse de que el área de sellado esté libre de

suciedad que pueda destruir los anillos.

» Cada cierto tiempo, aplicar una ligera capa de grasa sin silicona

en los anillos de sellado de neopreno si la acción de giro fuese

demasiado difícil.

» Cada cierto tiempo, quitar la tapa trasera y limpiar las roscas

posteriores del cuerpo de la linterna 2310 y el interior de la tapa

trasera con un paño limpio y suave para evitar un funcionamiento

intermitente de la linterna.

Mantenimiento Del Anillo

De Sellado De Neopreno

Vericar meticulosamente la ausencia de cortes, arañazos u otros

daños en el anillo de sellado de neopreno y en la supercie de

contacto del reborde de la lente. Eliminar la suciedad o sustancias

extrañas de la supercie del anillo de sellado de neopreno. Lubricar las

roscas, la estría del anillo de sellado de neopreno y el reborde interior

de la lente con grasa de silicona. Consultar la información sobre la

garantía para la sustitución del anillo de sellado de neopreno.

PRECAUCIÓN: PARA EVITAR QUE LA LINTERNA 2310

SE ENCIENDA ACCIDENTALMENTE MIENTRAS ESTÁ

ALMACENADA, SACAR LAS PILAS DE LA LINTERNA. SI LA

LINTERNA 2310 SE ENCIENDE MIENTRAS SE ENCUENTRA

EN UN CONTENEDOR, LA LINTERNA SE PUEDE CALENTAR

EN EXCESO, LO QUE PODRÍA PROVOCAR DAÑOS EN LA

PROPIA LINTERNA O EN LOS MATERIALES SITUADOS A SU

ALREDEDOR.

Pilas Alcalinas

» Los certicados de seguridad en zonas peligrosas para entornos

explosivos que ofrecen ciertas linternas solo se aplican al

fabricante de pilas especicado y, si procede, a las marcas que

aparecen en la linterna o en las hojas de instrucciones que la

acompañan. El uso de cualquier otro tipo de pilas puede afectar

al rendimiento de la linterna y exponer al usuario a lesiones

graves, y anula el certicado de seguridad.

» Consultar siempre las recomendaciones de uso del fabricante de

las pilas antes de utilizar la linterna.

» NO mezclar pilas antiguas con pilas nuevas.

» NO mezclar pilas de diferentes marcas/tipos.

» Cuando se vaya a sustituir las pilas, sustituir todas al

mismo tiempo.

» NO abrir las pilas.

» NO tirar las pilas al fuego.

» NO someter las pilas a más de 75 °C.

» NO exponer las pilas al agua.

» NO recargar las pilas.

» Introducir las pilas correctamente siguiendo la polaridad (+ y -)

indicada en la pila y en el equipo.

» NO cambiar las pilas en zonas peligrosas.

» NO usar pilas que estén caducadas.

» Sacar las pilas del equipo si no va a utilizarse durante un largo

periodo de tiempo.

Ja, het apparaat kan nog veilig gebruikt worden. Verwijder eerst de geoxideerde batterij. Doet dit niet met blote handen. Reinig daarna het batterijcompartiment met een wattenstaafje gedipt in azijn of citroensap. Laat het drogen en doe nieuwe batterijen in het apparaat.
